classic sonyipwise i would love to see another ratchet and clank, jak and daxter and medievil game for the vita. medievil is my number one title on the wish list. they must do another game! it´s such a great franchise. sly cooper is coming for the ps3 so you can count that out probably....what else?

Heavenly Sword, Final Fantasy X-2, Valkyria Chronicles 4, Grand Theft Auto spin-off (female protagonist), another Uncharted, Parasite Eve 3 (or is it 4?), Patapon 4, Bayonetta spin-off, Okami, an exclusive Final Fantasy game, a Rainbow Six exclusive, a Syphon Filter sequel (rumored to be in development), a TPS Call of Duty.

nice list! syphon filter would be awesome indeed. syphon filter and also god of war have been great on psp too. a heavenly sword could work great for the vita as well indeed. okami! Yea. well every game on your list would be cool tbh. i really think sony will show some surprising stuff for vita this e3. Writing this on my vita right now. Browser is really useable. Infamous, though 2 was pretty mediocore imho.

My wish would be a price drop & consistent AAA game releases which can only be achieved if they manage to obtain consistently high console sales. I'd love to see a revision next year with built in storage- in my opinion, the lack of which is probably its biggest downfall so far. The fact that many games require storage also proves to be an annoyance. I'd probably be willing to pay up to $250AUD for a PSV if it came with 16GB built in storage, and a game like Uncharted. Would also like a better battery, if they can fit a 3300mAh one in the RAZR MAXX which is less than 1cm think, they can do it for the Vita. One thing Sony should also prioritize is apps, they should be aiming at taking chunks out of smartphone & tablet market & premium games alone wont cut it. Codec support is also an issue my mate has but if Sony were to release an app store, one would assume that someone else will release a fully capable media player like VLC for PCs or MX Player for Android.

i totally agree. i just recently bought one kind of spontaneously because of a good amazon deal. i planned to wait for a serious pricecut but well i bought one. 277euro for a 3g vita including 8gb and uncharted for free as well as wipeout and rayman origins for 15euro each. that deal isnt awesome but quite good. the 8gb is too small though, i'll soon have to upgrade. would love to buy a 32gb but sooo overpriced. i think sony didnt think that out properly. i would love to buy lots of psn games but i just dont have the space on my mc to do so. so i havent bought any yet and just downloaded demos...
overall its a nice machine but theres some stuff besides that memory card pricing that i dont like. the ui is really useable, works great and supersmooth but looks so uninspired and ugly. but well it is complaining on a very high level. overall it just needs games and some software upgrades like you mentioned to get more multimedia stuff on it. this will probably come. it has great potential. no doubt it is a powerhouse. games and upgrades will come if the system will sell well. pricecut will come pretty soon i believe.Posted 1 year ago # -
I never even opened up the browser :p I'm using my Vita strictly for games. I'm hoping Sony really delivers at this year's E3. Being that games is one of the things Sony will be focusing on in order to recuperate from their money lost, now is the best time to show what the Vita can do. While I'm waiting for Gravity Rush and more games to arrive on the platform, I've been having a great time catching up on all the JRPGs playable on the Vita that was released for the PSP :)

yes there are some great psp games. good that the vita is region free too so future jrpgs that wont make it to the states or europe can be imported. i am replaying final fantasy dissidia right now on the vita because i bought it digitally for my psp years ago. great game. i really believe they will show a lot this e3. just like you said- their financial loss and their strategy to focus on core businesses now like game entertainment.

A new action games from grasshopper manufacture and PlatinumGames
and a new the 3rd birthday game (or Parasite eve 4 ?)i would love to see a game based on claymore (it is an anime)
sadly that won't happen :"(Posted 1 year ago # -
I think it's a great device but battery life could be better. Memory is also an issue with it's ridiculous cost, but that's SONY. SONY is a master of overpricing it's products and then bleeding for the next 8 years (like they are doing right now with their TV's.)
and the most important thing are games. Currently i have nothing to play. At launch i bought Uncharted ofc. Wipeout, RAyman: Origins which is also a Port.
Can't wait for Gravity Rush, but that's just stupid. It's one game only.So basically, NO GAMES. Sony really need to step up and bring some AAA titles to this.
Because today i saw that République from the creators of MGS4 is coming ONLY on the iOS and they give a crap about other portable platforms and game looks amazing.
I'm really disappointed by Sony's support for the Playstation Vita. Launch line-up support was nice and all, but after that there are no games. No games at all. Madness.

Erthazus, you can always try playing PSP games in the mean time. And there are a lot of games making there way down the pipeline. Final Fantasy Type O for the Vita, Final Fantasy X, Assassins Creed, Bioshock, Persona 4, and those are just at the top of my head. It sucks that we have to wait, but soon the Vita will have plenty of quality titles to choose from.

@RaisinBran I was actually just thinking about going back to some old PSP games on the Vita if I get one since the launch lineup isn't quite my cup of tea. What old PSP games would you guys recommend? I thoroughly enjoyed Rockband Unplugged and hope that makes it's way onto the vita, and I was alos thinking of getting the Final Fantasy 4 complete collection and a monster hunter game (which one is the best?).
Back on topic, a Grand Theft Auto game has been floating around my wishlist for a few days now and with the rumours of 5 making it's way, I got even more excited. Syphon Filter is another good one I can't wait for, but really I want to see what kind of FPS games will come and make use of the system. If there was ever a game like Fallout/Skyrim, I would lose it :)

I would like more exclusive games for the vita and not ports such as mortal kombat and stuff but dont get me wrong its good to have them but its sort of shit when already have the games on whatever console you have them on.

That's because you are wrong LOLshock. I have been playing tons of game's on my vita. Shinobido 2, rc motorstorm, super star dust delta, umvc3, golden abyss, unit 13, ff4 complete(which if you haven't played is awesome, im on the after years right now.), godeatersburst. I honestly can keep going on. Only reason someone wouldn't have anything to play is because their not looking.
I also have a huge back catalog of game's on my ps3 that keep me busy. I honestly don't feel the same way at all about it not having games. It honestly has too much because I can't afford it all.
But on topic I just want some tales games on the vita. I would love to play tales of versus of the ps2 tales of destiny 1 and 2 or eternia. I would love that.

@ Ejams: I love JRPGs and the Vita has quite a few I would recommend. Right now I'm playing Trails in the Sky, but down the line I plan on getting Valkyria Chronicles 2 (even though it's not listed as playable on the Vita it actually is), Ys Seven, Ys: The Oath In Felghana, and Final Fantasy 6. There's The 3rd Birthday. I hear the story is a bit out there, but the action is pretty good and what better way to encourage another entry in the series than to purchase the game and play it? I would also recommend Megan Man, BomberMan, Persona 3, and Half Minute Hero. It would be so awesome if Journey was added as playable Vita title. I would run and purchase that game again.
I think it's a given that Sony will reveal more upcoming Vita titles come June. Sony knows the device is on the ropes being that it isn't selling very well.

psp. for the more wesrern tastes= god of war, daxter, killzone liberation, gta chinatown wars, liberty city, vice city, ratchet and clank. personally loved medievil ressurection. got mediocore reviews, some flaws but overall one of my favourite psp games. there are more but i am ina rush atm. the list of raisin bran for japanese games is great. there really is plenty. i liked dissidia ff a lot. Might haveto give this game some time to really realize what it wants from you but then it is pretty awesome.
i as well think they wait for e3 there are a lot of semi announced, rumored games for the vita. we'll probably get the full games blowout this e3.
