So I'm moving in a few weeks and I'm going to need new Internets (currently on BT Infinity, but the new house is not in a fibre area).
So I'm looking for old skool down the landline type dealies.
I almost sold myself on Be, their website talks a good game, but the customer reviews are less impressive. It appears that Be continue to trade and market on the reputation for quality they built "back in the day" while the reality of "today" is that the quality of their service has been on a downward spiral for the last couple of years which has seen them lost almost 15% of their subscriber base. One notes that this decline in quality is suspiciously coincidendal with their transfer of ownership to O2 whom I have had as an ISP previously and whom I found to be utterly horrendous towards the end of the contract after a shining start...
So I'm kinda backto square one (unless someone on Be can convince me otherwise).
I had a look at PlusNet, not massively keen on usage limits, but 60GB monthly limit with no limits between midnight and 8am, I could possibly deal with that.
Tv and call bundles are unimportant, however decent network stability and reasonably good latency are a must.
Anyone got any comments, experiences, warnings etc?
