Try being me...

Still pretty bad. Never try anything long distance.
They are squidgy though.

@Colin I started a long distance relationship with someone two years ago, and I'm now happily married to said woman.
Anything can work as long as the people are right for each other, and committed to making things work. Distance or otherwise.
I digress. Yes, woman are awesome.

@Ireland Michael
It would appear that I've accidentally started a second one. Last one nearly killed me mentally, physically and financially! :D , after two years she wanted other men! Woo.
I'm a better person now though.

@Colin Sounds like you're better off.
Hopefully she's one of the decent ones. Those are hard to find, regardless of gender.

Wishing you well, Johnny.

I'm getting a new 360 for Valentines Day!
Oh, I'm sorry. I mean "Yeah, women suck, they're so mean and stupid"
I really think it's less about women being bitches, and more about a very specific woman being a bitch. Which is ultimately down to us putting up with that bitch :p

I can't wait for the next gen of women. I'm hoping for a smaller memory, slower processors, easier controls, simpler to maintain and sleek design...

Women suck balls
Posted 1 year ago # -
I don't suck balls o.o;
Posted 1 year ago # -
The above is true (so long as we're assuming that sucking balls is a pejorative term).

In my experience they break them :'(

I take it all back. I'm a very positive person, but having someone stand you up means having your own optimism used against you. It's an intensely humiliating and infuriating experience.
What is the price of having your night wasted, your ego shredded and your faith in womankind destroyed? I've crunched the numbers and I estimate it comes out to 12 beers and a lap dance.

If I let one bad experience destroy my faith in womankind then I'd be single right now. I had like, four bad experiences. Really bad. Then I found my special someone.
No point getting bitter or twisted, everyone is different so at some point you'll find a good un.

What Silk said.
Took me about 12 horrible women before I found my wife. And I'm not exactly a looker either, so that's saying a lot.
Here we go again.
For a start, women will be far more appealing when you stop being so emo about them. People are individuals. Your past experiences mean absolutely nothing in relation to who thwy arw as a person.
Singular obnoxious individuals are not a barometer to the integrity of an entire gender either.
I don't know what age you are Gheritt, but in all honesty you act like a naive teenager with this stuff. You become utterly miserable every time this shit happens. You seem to want it all straight away, and get devastated when you don't.
It helps to take a long look at oneself. The one common factor in all this is you. Consider for a moment that there might be something about yourself that is putting them off you, or messing things up. And work on it. Humility is a good trait to have.

Blimey, I thought it was fairly apparent I was making an OTT sweeping statement in jest. Evidently not...
Somebody needs to invent a font for sarcasm.
Also Mike, and you know this better than most, don't confuse somebody's online persona with their one IRL. Sometimes it's just for effect, y'know? Nevertheless, you do make some excellent general points, *especially* about wanting it all straight away.
That said, people who stand other people up - regardless of gender - are dickheads, arseholes or a number of any other pejorative terms you care to mention. I'm not sure anyone would be able to convince me otherwise.
Posted 1 year ago # -
Nope, I honestly thought you were being completely serious. =P You played it pretty straight, so there was very little to interpret as sarcasm.
Sounda like you're better off. Plenty more fish in the sea.
As for online personas, I take them as I see them. If people act different online, that's their issue.

Plenty more fish in the sea, eh?
