Am I the only guy who looks at new consoles just fir the sake of a new console? Just thus week I've been sorely tempted by the Gears 3 special edition 360 & a 3ds... With no idea of what games I'd play on them...
Just the idea of some nice shiny new toy... Next gen can't come soon enough!
that why us PC guys upgrade every now then (new graphics new cpu etc..)
to get the same feeling :p
Ive been kind of depressed latley and was seriously considering picking up the black limited edition Zelda 3DS & OoT pack. Suppose its the male gamer's version of retail therapy. Ive got this image of me opening the box to the tune of 'opening a chest' OoT style :D
^ If it had done that, I'd have had one ages ago! It's defo retail therapy for guys tho... Of course after the initial honeymoon period I then start feeling guilty for wasting money on shit I don't need or use ;-)
No, I'd much rather buy some new clothes or something else.
I recently bought a new (and fucking expensive) high spec gaming headset, mainly because they look awesome, even though I already have one. Well at least I'll have 7.1 for both my PC and xbox.
Also reminds me of the kinect, I might actually play it but it doesn't fit the room where my xbox is so unless I want to dismantle everything every time I play kinect sports I'm stuck. For some reason I keep buying games for it though.
