   Hey all,

   I know I'm still quite new here and this is a total shot in the dark..

   But I'm desperately trying to get a Diablo 3 beta key so I can print it, wrap it, and give it as a Christmas present to my significant other.

   It'd make her year, she's had a hard time lately and I dunno.. she is so excited about this game I can't think of anything better.

   Does anyone have any clue how I could go about getting one?

   nb. This isn't some crappy attempt at getting a key for myself.. yeah, I like diablo, yeah, I have it preordered but nah, not in a rush. As for the gf, she goes on about it, jokingly asks me if it's out yet all the time, and demands I go to Blizzard HQ to make them push forward the release date (heeelp).

   An old friend of mine from school works over in the states for Blizz..

   He has previously said that if I give him my battle.net email account then he can get a key to me.

   No promises (as we don't speak all that regularly) but if you give me the appropriate address, I can certainly try !

   When asked about any news on 'Titan', his response was 'I can't say much about Titan, other than to say that I've seen it in action, it looks phenomenal - something you'd love. Other than that, I'm under an NDA, so I can say no more.'

   Sounds awesome, worth a try right? :)

   I am so intrigued on Titan.. my theory is it'll be a social game of some sort. Knowing blizz it will be awesome, don't recall them ever delivering a crap game.

   I can't see a means to PM on this forum; Is there one? If not I'll have to post her email here and then delete it later on (unless you have a better idea).

   Presumably it has to be her battle.net email if the beta is directly linked to a bnet account? A shame cos I was hoping it would be a code I could surprise her with, but I guess it makes sense. :-)

   Why not add each other on Steam or something like that?

   I would love to help but I haven't been able to get hold of a key. My last hope was the Facebook Diablo Beta sweepstakes thing but it looks like that hasn't paid off for me.

   If by some chance I get one, I will ping it over to you. I'm feeling generous with it being Christmas and all. ;)
