While I definitely don't care about the actual awards,I am certainly looking forward to see which games will be announced and here is what I' m hoping for:
1)Half-Life 3(or Episode 3) - let's face it people,it 's long overdue,and while others may not agree,this franchise will always be Valve's flagship.
2)Mirror's Edge 2 - the timing is perfect(after all the BF3 fuss is over)and with the new Frostbite 2 engine DICE could really make something special with the sequel.
I guess that's it,which games would you guys like to see?

Unlikley but... a new Syphon Filter. One of my fav IP's from the PSX days. Gabe Logan could give ANY modern overly butch character a run for his/her money.

I think Mirrors Edge 2 will get a GDC reveal. Timing isn't perfect. EA won't want focus off Battlefield 3 for a while yet and with the Back To Karkand pack releasing in the coming weeks they want as many eyes as they can on it.
triggerhappy - I also loved Syphon Filter, especially 2...that train level..ooft.

I really REALLY hope new games from Respawn and Double Fine are shown / revealed with something other than super short text teasers.
Other than that, I just hope the "unbelievable" PS3 game isn't Left 4 Dead 3 now going to PC & PS3 instead of PC & 360. I loved original L4D to death but the sequel was one of the most disappointing games I've played ever since Sonic went 3D.

FIFA Soccer Games 2012 for Mac is one of the very exciting video game, which is widely popular and played by number of people of all age group particularly youngsters. Wow, with this type of overhyping even the second and third coming would end up disappointing let alone the probably lame announcement Keighley is selling so hard.
And the sad part (At least for me) is that no matter how good or bad this turns out to be, it won't really matter since I already know about my most anticipated game of the decade (South Park single player RPG from creators of Fallout 2).

Not hearing much about Bioware's big reveal that's going down, but I guess b/c everyone has figured out its probably a new C&C
Anyone have any ideas about the EPIC game? Its obv not Gears related, I was thinking it was the Samaritan game but Mike Capps comments today made me thing otherwise...
Fallout 4 would be an awesome reveal, but seeing how long it took to announce Skyrim I wouldn't plan on it...hopefully Turtle Rock's new game is revealed and is something cool

@ IL DUCE, it's such shame how far Tony Hawk has fallen. A console generation ago, it was THE highest rated game series in the market (With Pro Skater ones). Now it's little more than a joke.

@The_Red yeah I remember playing Tony Hawk on the PS1 or PS2 back in the day...it was mad cool but it just never evolved with the times...or maybe it devolved and they went in the completely wrong direction with the franchise...the only skating game I've touched this gen was Skate 1 which was pretty dope

7)Last Of Us(PS3 exclusive)

10)New game from THQ(most probably)
Which leaves us with 3 more games left to speculate about and I think that one of them will most likely be Dishonored - a game by Arcane Studios(publisher Bethesda),the game was announced 5 months ago and is suppose to come out next year but we haven't seen anything from it so far.Posted 1 year ago # -
@IL DUCE I think it was a combination of both problems you mentioned: They kept releasing the same game over and over again until Project 8 and then started losing the greater parts of the series until there was nothing left by the time Shred came out. Also agreed on Skate. Loved all 3 of them (Though original was definitly the best for its time).
@Edo Thanks for the list. Also superb call on Dishonored. Really REALLY hope it's shown because the minds behind it are simply mindblowing.

@The_Red No problem,I am seriously hoping that I am wright about Dishonored simply because I have read so many first looks,previews and what not about this game that made me want to believe that this game could definitely be a sleeper hit for the next year(along with Prey 2 that is accidentally also published by Bethesda :) ).

If it's really Epic's Samaritan then wouldn't it be likely that it's a next-gen title and a Xbox 360 exclusive like Gears of War. Of course, like Insomniac they could have gone multi-platform, but if not then Microsoft is in for quite the title.

@Takeshi - yeah, Samaritan would be a nextgen game...but if a new console is due in late 2013 or 2014...its not all that far off...most likely not Samaritan though since Mike Capps said the new game would be something very different for them and Samaritan wouldn't be that much different since we've already seen it
Yeah I'm totally ready to see Dishonored if its there...game sounds awesome like a BioShock/Thief hybrid...
@ASBI the only viable options of the ones you mentioned are Respawn, Bungie or Quantic Dream since I believe Agent takes place in the 70s (even though I contemplated it for a second) and its definitely not God of War 4 or GTA V going PS3 exclusive, I guess a Kojima game is possible too...hopefully whatever it is doesn't get spoiled, kind of like when I checked this site before the MS conference @ E3 to get Halo 4 surprise reveal spoiled for me...
