Hello VG247! Just found a video on youtube that shows you how to add BF3 in to non steam games! Still don´t know if it works while you already have orgin opened or if origin needs to be closed when staring the game. If it doesn´t work to have origin on while staring the game I would recomend you to turn off autostart of origin in settings, easier that way. If someone would test if it works while having origin on it would be great, cause I just don´t have the time. (hehe playing BF3 you know;) .)

And for people who don't wanna watch a video I'll put it simply :P
Add Origin to Steam, rename it Battlefield 3, grab the icon from the Battlefield 3 folder if you care for that. Then it'll work :D

Interesting. I still fail to see the point of Origin in relation to BF3. And you have to be a total fool to purchase BF3 for £40 from it, unless of course you dont have any other retailer around

And that's why I bought it from Game ;D

but you still need to install EA's spyware to play it?

Yeah I had plenty of problems with the battlelog/Origin with BF3 today, I installed it then tried to play it and it didn't seem to think it was installed then asked me to pay 40 quid for it. I've already bought it new on Amazon. So I just uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it worked. But it was effort that wouldn't had happened if I could just use an actual game menu, which I would have much preferred anyway.
