   anyone else been playing uncharted 3 multiplayer? reached rank 15, it's a mixed bag imo:

   positives:

   Good visuals with the desert being a personal favourite
   Nice fluid movements with character animations easing the climbing and running
   Most of the maps are well crafted apart from Highrise

   negatives:

   Some terrible hit detection
   Certain players seem to take ridiculous amounts of damage, watching your buddy unload a full round into them aswell as your own before being killed leaves a feeling of bewildering frustration as they remain alive
   Some perks feel useless
   Feel Uncharted 2 was a better multiplayer experience, especially in the hit detection
   One of the worst online communities i've experienced, either no one speaks english and when they do a majority of them act like aggressive brats who take getting killed far too personally

   Cant wait for the final game but will be experiencing single player/co-op a lot more than versus

   Well to be honest Naughty Dog need to sort out.the boosting on plunder mode, otherwise their will be a lot of top rank players day 1 of the multiplayer.... literally within hours T_T

   In regards to the shooting... well hipfire while closing In, then melee attack seems to be the order of the day. Though even that can be off... being clubbed to death by one hit.from across the room can be irritating.

   Tbh that's how I'd sum up the mp. When it clicks its great, but until you figure out its little quirks and grind your way up to the top end perks for you & your gun (yep perks for your gun) your gonna be irritated... a lot.

   If you're experiencing hit detection issues and playing against players who don't speak English then the issue might be poor match making. You're getting matched to people really far away.

   I havent noticed any hit detection problems nor have i seen anyone complain about it in the games forums.

   yeah the ak feels a bit of a drag, prefer the m9. the damage some players seem to take irritates me the most out of my negatives

   the handling is clunky and heavy. the maps are disappointing. terrible random spawn-system. laggy.
   im not impressed, and i was a huge fan of uncharted 2 MP.

   im hoping its not nostalgia, cos i genuinely feel like this new installment is very mediocre.

   Just been browsing neo gaf, eurogamer, nd forums and sony's US forums, plenty of hit detection complaints there. the previous beta feels better than this current one imo.

    I got Uncharted 2 a few months before I got access to this beta, and it was actually the first multiplayer I ever bothered with. I mean, COD is pretty fucking boring, I don't know how anyone can keep playing that game's multiplayer. Then again I only got for singleplayer for those games.

    That being said, I really enjoyed the beta even though I admit it does have a few bugs that needs to be worked on. Getting clubbed when I am actually 2 meters from the guy I am fighting and then he manages to do it anyway, well, I don't know if it's my ping or something. Irritating.

    Sprinting seems kind of unneeded. Seems I focus more on that than I'd like to.

    Really the only complaint I have, yeah, I'm not too picky on multi.

    I noticed that we got a patch after I didn't play for a week or something. Great, keep up the good work, Naughty Dog.

    Uncharted MP is full of brats. What I hate about the MP is headshot. HS in that game sucks.

    Lag ≠ Hit detection.

    Also characters move faster and the guns have more recoil. Hit detection -as in the position of hit boxes- is fine, its just the fact that it takes a lot of hits, the recoil and the way aiming works thats giving you the impression your hits arent registering.

    Protip: When you're aim shooting and moving, your circle cross-hair isnt where your bullets go, they go where the dot is, which lags behind depending on which way you're turning. So if you're aiming at someone who is sprinting, even if you have your cross-hair on them, you can be missing them. You have to aim in front.

    Anything else is just due to lag. There are no problems with the hit boxes.

    my opinion about the multiplayer is that its the last thing i would have ever asked for.
    never before there was such a huge discrepancy between my interset in de SP and MP Portion of a game.
    UC3 SP - most wanted AAA this year, easily - the launch trailer made me moist
    UC3 MP - couldnt.care.less

    will get this day one!

    Just started UC3 online multiplayer. In 'elimination' after I'm killed by enemy, I'm unable to see the position of the other enemy players. I can see only my team members & not the people of the opposite team . This was possible in UC2 -- but now in UC3, how to see where enemy players are hiding or coming from ?

    You're dead. You dont need to see where the enemies are unless its to tell your remaining team mates where they are, which makes the reason for its removal pretty obvious.

    OH, then I'm fine with it. I was wondering if there was something wrong with my console/game unit. Anyway, presently am getting thoroughly beaten in UC3's complicated maps ;) and still trying to figure out the new stuff like 'buddy system', 'kickback' etc..
