Hype level for Skyrim pretty much at breaking point after having a good shot of it at EGX.
I'll be heading for that big mountain in the middle there. :D

Maybe it's just me, but that looks... really, really small.
i heard somewhere that its 30% smaller then oblivion, and also you got to remember that some of the dungeons are underground so its still pretty huge
It's you. The Oblivion map is about the same and less dense.

Skyrim's map is about the same size as Oblivion's, but it will feel bigger because of the mountains, and it will also have a lot more content.
The leaked map only shows the main cities / towns / regions... not every single point of interest like the Oblivion map linked by Phoenixblight.
I just used that link because it was the biggest picture. I didn't know what those dots mean, I assumed it was Points of Interest.
Looks plenty big to me. Consider the number of mountains on that map, they're gonna be pretty big and that gives you a better appreciation for the scale.
Lotsa room for dungeons, smaller towns, hostile keeps.
Still on the fence about a day 1 purchase. New engine, but a game of this size is still sure to carry a significant quantity of bugs, which has me thinking, "maybe wait til xmas"
@freedom. Perversely I find all the bugs & glitches add to the experience of these big Bethesda games.
The "will it crash" tension easily beats any terror offered by wimpy old demon souls ;)
^^ hahahaha
@Phoenixblight Thanks for the link. That's definitely a lot more encouraging.
