@KAP - not the first time, and definitely not the last.
@daytripper - who decides how long is notable? One of the last PSN "outages" was brief and apparently didn't affect most users yet was widely reported. Did you have a problem with that?
But there is plenty of research into how consumers are starting expect less from something they pay for than from things they don't. All ties in with this entitlement crap we're seeing in young, spoilt fuckwits who've never had to earn anything.

i had more of a problem of it being down than the duration or timing of when its reported on this website and if that spoilt fuckwit remark is aimed at me, well i'll be polite and say you are wrong.
if i thought it was a bad service i wouldnt pay for it and psn is a good service for it being free, i just have a problem with how its designed.

@sg1974 Xbox Live wasn't hacked to shit and back and taken down for over a month.
This is the first time in as long as I can remember that Xbox Live wasn't accessible, and it was for about 10 minutes.
The unexpected downage of PSN recently, on the other hand, lasted for at least a couple of hours, and it suffered two other sporadic downtimes in the same week on top of that.
Kind of a big difference.
