That's quite an interesting little write up... but I must admit that I don't know the guy's article history so I couldn't really comment on what he's done to earn the anger of the hardcore system warriors.
I've always suspected that age might have something to do with it though, simply because the generation of gamers who grew up on Playstation is still pretty young... and like he said, "You combine an adolescent with money and what do you get? One irritating little son of a bitch.".

This is frustatringly ridiculous even for an opinion piecee.
You just should not write 'fact' even with the pretense of an opinion piece. And also, what does he think he is doing by making this ranting angry article? Does he think he's showing everyone the way? I think he's just lowering himself to their level by insulting them.
I understand the concept of 'giving as good as you get', but if what you get is meaningless drivel, then give it back if you feel so enraged, but don't make an article out of it.

See, that's what I meant by screaming the loudest on the internet, they always turn up in droves for everything.
/is arrogent

That's not arrogant, at all man. I understood your point, and his. But it's just, that being provoked by it... Means that they've found something that provokes you.
They are obviously fucking stupid and not worth speaking to or at.
This guy writing the article however, is abusing his podium to boost credence to the idea that some fanboys are worse than others.Instantly that smacks of some form of impartiality. And also it smacks of the same mindlessness those very fanboys have in ranting crazily and trying to get people to agree.

Also factually wrong in a few places. 360 fans never up in arms when an exclusive goes the other way? See Tales of Vesperia. Both as bad as each other.

He specifically mentions ToV. Did you actually read it? :P

Well I stopped reading at "Simply put? Xbox 360 fanboys might be dumbasses, but they don't throw little girly tantrums when they "lose" an exclusive." - he mentions ToV after that but easily dismisses it for what seem like reasons you could dismiss the PS3 ones.

there will be no peace and this generation may go down as the ugliest console war ever, but besides that I tend to stay away from green themed sites as they pretty much are XBOT owned. Here's a lovely example: http://www.g1gahurtz.com/

The irony is, TEA, that you'd probably get the most out of reading that opinion piece.

At first, with the Prototype vs. inFamous article, I thought he was just declaring his bias. With this one, though, its easy to see that he's an attention whore. Why provoke a group of people you admit you have a distaste for, laughing at their expense with your followers in the comment section? Hits? Also, there is no parity between any former 360 title and FF. None. Its a decades old franchise that has never been multiplatform. If you weren't shocked at E3 announcement, then I don't know what to say.

@Galactic_Barret
Then you don't know what to say to me. I found it surprising how many people were shocked at the announcement. Seemed an obvious move in the context of spiralling development costs - particularly for a title like FFXIII - for it to be multi-platform. That coupled with Sony's shift towards internally developed rather than third party paid for exclusives this gen.Posted 3 years ago # -
