   So I thought I would get this thread going considering how well the Deus Ex thread went...

   So far I have to say I'm really enjoying the game. It looks great on the PC but it does have a few graphical flaws here and there such as random black blockiness. I'm sure, and hope, it's something that can be easily patched.

   The voice acting, like most 40K games, is top notch and Mark Strong really plays a Space Marine well.

   The MP has been fun but a few games have been laggy as hell. That might just be a connection issue though as some have been smooth. The one major flaw in the MP is the lack of any control or options for voice chat.

   I don't know how a team that mainly develops for PC could miss something like that out. And I don't mean muting poeple, that option is there. I'm talking about myself; I speak to my friends mainly on Vent and there is no way for me to turn off my voice. So unless I'm happy with broadcasting my voice to everyone in game, there's nothing I can do about it.

   I'm not that far into the story but as a fan of the 40K universe, it hits the mark on many different levels. Visually it's pretty much perfect and the audio of weapons is fantastic.

   Looking forward to playing more. :)

   First two hours into single player and enjoying it very much.It's brutal and stomping orcs from above is a blast!.The only 2 resentments so far could be the occasional weird camera angles and the fact that you still get hurt while doing the executions,but so far I would say that it's a solid 8/10.

   I hate games that do this! Dead Island is one of them, but I can't even mute the other people and I'm in the same situation, I'm either in Teamspeak or Skype and I obviously don't want to broadcast my general banter XD for respect of the fellow players in the game and for myself.

   So along with Space Marine, I have kinda been overloading my brain with 40k goodness. A bit of DoW2 has been getting played as well as my first forray into model painting...

   I don't what possessed me to do but I thought "what the hell" and as a noob it took me like a whole day but I finished my first model, and I thought I would share it in the themed thread:

   With regards to Space Marine, despite the annoying chat problem I am loving the MP. Just hit lvl 20. I'm up to chapter 8 in the story too and loving that also.

   @ trigger, Yeah it's the Death Company :)

   I only know the basics of most chapters and lore from the wikia site. So I added my own personal colour ideas to it. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to do a whole army as the actualy table top game doesn't interest me much (yet).

   It was more because I enjoy the universe and wanted to do something a little creative this weekend. I'm going to try and get some of the others done today. :)

   As for the book, the guy in the store recommended it to me so I got that too but I haven’t started yet due to Space Marine, painting and some minor raging out at said painting.

   @ Ireland, Honestly, this was the first model I have painted. The last time I was in a Games Workshop was like 15 years ago before it shut down. And even then that was only because it was like a "cool toy store" to me.

   I'm sure if someone good at it watched me they would be thinking "WTF are you doing?" As I said, that one model took hours due to constant touching up here and there and redoing this and that. I think it's more anal OCD than skill. :P

    @ viralshag: Sorry I ment to say your paintings looking good man. I actually downloaded the image and zoomed in and all that shit. Im starting a Dark Angels Mk 6 squad in Hesesy colours as soon as ive played Human Revolution for a while.

    Man, thos would be awesome. And thanks, I finsihed two more of them too, one looks badass dual wielding a pair of chainswords.

    Looking at some others on the net, I need to work on my highlighting and stuff, they almost look a bit too clean and need some minor details to really bring them to life.

    I was going to say too: Horus Heresy is starting to get really good.

    Erm, I have nearly finished the campaign, I played it on hard and that was pretty tough. Steam tells me I have been playing for 15 hours but I have spent a lot of time on MP so I'm going to say about 7-9 hours on hard, probably about 6-8 on normal.

    The only replay value would be in the MP and atm there isn't many modes. It's definitely fun but I can't see it being a MP classic I would be hooked on. The SP replayability would mainly be for trophy hunters in my opinion.

    I'd like to see that other co-op mode they talked about too.

    Ok, so I just finished the first half of Horus Heresy and I'm onto part two. This book is amazing and the ending to the first half with Samus was great.

    This is causing me to lose a lot of sleep as I can't put the bloody thing down. Gaming is taking a hit too :P

    Campaign was average but I still enjoyed it & MP is fun when you can actually find a game that doesn't lag, if this game reminds me of anything, it'd be Transformers War for Cybertron- both would be boring without the IP behind it.

    Finished Campaign, I quite enjoyed it, it picks up about halfway through and gets more varied with the new weapons and enemies and stuff. The chaos at the end were a pain to take down.
    As for the MP it is fun, but on a small scale. Something like 5 maps and two modes. Want that Exterminatus mode now :P.

    I agree with CJ, the brand strengthens the experience on the whole.
