Absolutely.
It'll be the closest we ever get to anything resembling a Half-Life movie. In truth, that's sort of a backhanded slur given how badly games translate to film, but taken on it's own merits, it really is a superb sci-fi actioner/thriller, even if it does wear it's apartheid allegories a little too brazenly perhaps :)

As in the movie? And you mean legally of course? I would never advise otherwise...
But yes, very much so. It's a pretty great movie. I really enjoyed it but within my group it was a little hit and miss. Some, like me, loved it and others didn't think much of it at all.
I would definitely say yes though.

I thought it was alright. There were quite a few things that annoyed me. It didn't manage to steer clear of preaching, and I don't get why they chose the steadycam format, the progagonist really isn't a very good actor, certainly not good enough to make it look like an actual documentary.
Still, I enjoyed it.

@DSB, so close but yet so far. It's not trying to be like a documentary really is it? It just had, I suppose, elements with the cam stuff but after stuff happens that doesn't ever return (If I remember correctly)
Also I thought he wasn't that bad, from District 9 to A Team I thought he did pretty well.

The point isn't whether it's trying to be a documentary a not, the point is the guy can't carry it. It looks like the movie is taking the piss on itself in the beginning.

Copley did a great job as a guy that's way over his head and is definitely one of the movie's strongest links.

Go ahead and buy it, it's really good. I don't think the main character is portrayed by a bad actor. I had a feeling he acted this way on purpose. The film starts as a kinda bad documentary and then it gets... well weird. But in a good way. There might have been too much fuss around this movie so don't watch it thinking it'll change your life. But it's original and worth watching.
