It's killing my computer. As soon as I get on this site my computer is slowing down to a crawl, because Safari (or rather the flash player) suddenly needs 98% of my CPU. :(

I use a script blocker which also blocks flash Syrok. Dunno if Safari has one or not as I use FireFox. But they seem to work great, IMO.

Seriously thoguh it HAS just explained to me why I wasn't able to play videos tonight without stuttering.
I don't care ill just close VG247. But it is annoying. I don't need animations.

I hadn't noticed it as a problem until I just loaded up the Task Manager in Chrome and noticed that flash is using 150Meg and 25% (e.g. 1 whole core) of my CPU!
I just double checked it was this site by closing every other tab down and it is...
Can you guys (VG247) maybe ping the creators of that ad (or the ad network) and ask them to take a quick look at it, it's clearly written badly and has issues.

It's killing my Mac, that's for sure. Whenever the ad pops up, performance nose dives. I've no problem with viewing the ads which keep this site ticking over, but please look into this problem!

Just downloaded Ad Blocker for Safari, and everything runs a ton faster. Once that ad goes, I'll probably uninstall it.
