You guys remember when they forgot Iphone 4 at the bar before the relase date right?
Guess what? IT fucking happened AGAIN!
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH, Sorry, But I find this funny.. I think it's done intentionally due to advertising etc.

Of course it's intentional. It's the second stage of the marketing campaign that'll continue over the next year.
Just like the first one, intentional. It creates pretty awesome free advertising for them and all they have to do is "forget their phone" and then sit to watch the news roll in.
Be more interested in a new Xperia Play phone, hopefully they drop the Xperia name altogether & use more modern hardware, full PSN integration with the ability to play PSP, PSOne & minis would be a huge plus.
CJ, no offense but do you know what's derailing threads?
Me derailing? At least my comment wasn't completely irrelevant, it's still on the topic of unannounced mobile phones.
The only chance of me ever buying an iPhone is if Apple overhauled the entire OS to allow customization, features & some freedom-I hate proprietary crap.
If it weren't for the popular App store, the iPhone would be considered a fancy dumbphone... A grid of icons with a keyboard on the far left, how innovative Apple.
It's amazing the kind of patents that Apple gets granted that prevent improvements over already existing tech.
Your comment had zero to do with the topic, what does your shitty unannounced Phony thing have to do with the iPhone marketing campaign trick? It's like coming into a Gears of War discussion and posting 'I'm more interested in the next LBP'. Hey, they're both games , eh? Enjoy being a hypocrite.
Look, I couldn't care less if some idiotic Sony fanboy would get an iPhone. seems like you completely miss the point of a board. You're the one coming into threads saying 'Ner ner ner I 'm still not buying it.' Do you seriously think someone tries to convince you ? Seems like you're just that threatened.
Posting 'but but XPeria' and 'But but Android' in every iPhone thread, alongside your silly ignorant fabricated nonsense is what derailing topics is about. This one is even more funny, since it doesn't even discuss iPhone in itself.
You're completely offtopic, and your silly assumptions don't help much either. if it wasn't for iPhone your shitty XPeria wouldn't exist since the mobile games market wouldn't expand that much. Besides compared to what was available in 2008 iPhone was like an alien race gift to humans. Come to think of it, the shitty Google's clone of iOS wouldn't exist either.
Your moronic assumption about patents makes no sense as well, I don't see any improvement made by anyone to whatever they copied from iOS. I see Apple perfecting everything. Keep beating that drum, buddy.
Cry me a river.
Someone's getting defensive. Corporate loyalty tends to have that effect on trolls.
"I see Apple perfecting everything." If they perfected everything, then why do they need to even patch the phone & re-release it every year?
"shitty Google's clone of iOS" Android has been in development long before Apple started, wasn't until Google's funding that the project caught along.
"iPhone was like an alien race gift to humans" Again, it's a cool little device but it lacked in basic features until the App Store arrived which wasn't introduced until, like a year later.
You call me ignorant because I want a company to open it's doors more to the community? I applaud Apple's efforts involving the App store, although I think they charge unreasonable prices to their partners & are altogether too strict. Now, I'm sorry for having an opinion, troll along please.
Look, replying with a 'No you' doesn't make your post sound any better. I'm not the one claiming Sony 've released a revolution after revolution, mocking Dreamcast (which btw did more) in-between and then hypocritically making asinine assumptions about every thing Apple does. So I doubt I do what you say.
They don't patch their OS that much, if you 've been following them. The very first two versions did receive some serious updates, and as I said it kind of is lame how they put an incomplete (very first iPhone) product on the market. Howeevr as of late, it's practically perfect, and the changes applied are minimal.
The average life cycle of a phone is 1-1.5 years. Apple have absolutely no choice but to release a new version if they want to keep up with a myriad of yearly released devices from LG, Samsung, Nokia, SE and the rest. It 's always been like that, you only have to check out all the K-somethting F-something and etc SE cell phones, or the numerous Nokia N-XX.
Google followed in the footsteps of iPhone, it's not rocket science that their OS would be different if it wasn't for the competition.
Quote:
- On July 10, 2008, Apple CEO Steve Jobs told USA Today that the App Store contained 500 third-party applications for the iPhone and the iPod Touch, and of these 25% were free.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/App_Store_(iOS)
Now what was that about ignorance again?
I call you ignorant when you state it 's a 'dumbphone', when that jargon word is being used to describe cell phones running third party apps through Brew and /or J2me. At least certainly not a high end phone with fully featured OS which was iPhone.
Seriously, when you make a blatantly trolling comment which is completely and utterly offfopic, it's not surprising people react accordingly. More so when you do thata t the slightest provocation.
"Sony 've released a revolution after revolution" When have I ever stated that Sony revolutionized anything?
"mocking Dreamcast" When? I can't recall ever mocking the dreamcast, think it released here close to the time Sega stopped production so I've little experience with it. So I don't care for it, but I've nothing to criticize it about.
"their OS would be different if it wasn't for the competition" None of us can say exactly how different Android would be without Apple's influence, lately it's only been negative, plaguing OEMs with pointless lawsuits.
"I call you ignorant when you state it 's a 'dumbphone'" Why? It has no official definition so it goes down to one's perspective, I see a dumb phone as a limited/restricted phone.
"Seriously, when you make a blatantly trolling comment which is completely and utterly offfopic, it's not surprising people react accordingly" So why are you surprised at me? Right now, you're no better than me, I had no intention of trolling, I wasn't looking to get a negative & irrelevant response pointing out my irrelevance which is even more so irrelevant leading into this irrelevant discussion about much more irrelevant crap.
I do recall you making multiple posts about Sega making games for Sony 'being a slap in the face', Sony 'releasing revolution after revoultion'. And how it was all funny that Sega failed and Sony didn't. it's all right on this board. So really, out of us two I'm not the one being a fan of one corporation.
Saying that we can't tell how Android would end up being doesn't negate what I said. They followed in the footsteps of a proven to be successful mobile OS. Besides when you innovate and do it first you 're entitled not to give other corporate folks get any money out of it.
Because i'm used to people using jargon appropriately, and that's the context it's being used in, I had no idea you were using own proprietary definitions.
Right now I'm not that better than you, yes. However as i said I was referring to an offtopic post not made by myself.
Simple, if you don't want bickering about who has a better phone, don't start one.
I still want to know how I mocked the Dreamcast. I do remember saying that Sega making games for Sony is a slap in the face but I don't see how that's mocking the Dreamcast, it can't ever be pleasant working for the guy who put you out of business but I guess business is business.
Now that I think about, I probably did state something around the lines of Sony revolutionizing gaming- probably meant it in popularity, let's face it, it was often considered 'uncool' before the PlayStation era to be a gamer. There's a reason that the PS1&2 are the best selling home consoles of all time. Not that I give a shit-anymore, used to be more like TEA regarding Sony & PlayStation but I grew up, only care about the product that benefits me the most, not the logo, there's enough Lemmings as it is.
I was saying you mocked Sega in the form of Dreamcast. They don't 'work for' Sony when publishing own internally developed titles on their device, I think you just really misunderstand the relationship. If anything all they do is making money by using Sony's device to reach the customers. Sega could easily put Sonic on SNES, it would be just idiotic from the console sales pov. Besides Sonic team weren't the architects of their consoles.
Well duh!
Of course I knew that!
*-_-
Paying royalties to publish games for the very company that took them out of business. I was never being literal, just pointing out the irony.
Sony and Nintendo alongside Sega's own half assed decisions played a role in taking their consoles out of business. They've continuously made so many mistakes prior to DC that it was too late. There's no irony in there. It would be ironic if Sony hired them to develop something.
No offence guys, but do you guys know what's derailing threads? jk lol :D
So...
The bar owner has never been contacted by Apple or the police about this. Apple "tracked" the phone to an address and pitched up with the police - who found zilch. And no-one has seen/traced the alleged Craigslist ad by which it was supposedly sold.
Sorry, but I'm not that stupid. You might be, but I'm not.
Oh by the way, Apple got a lot of column inches on the lost iPhone 5 story across global media this week - a few weeks before release. And lots of stories following Apple's attempts to ban Samsung devices which have already been in the shops for many months, too.
Give DeMan and C. Jack a private room for christ sake! Gather up all your toys that fell out of the pram and get with the program. DeMan is right..........stick to the thread, at least this way people can know what they are reading and why they are reading it.
Oh dear...

The Apple cult has taken over the police now.
