I Have been playing the resistance 3 beta for a little now and I wanted to share with you guys the impressions I got from it so far. The beta is only multiplayer and it only has 2 modes to choose from (I've only been doing team deathmatch) You get to choose your loadout and sub-perks before matches. Now both main perks and sub-perks work differently in Resistance 3 then any other Cod. In all the Cod's the perks affect you and your environment more then anything. In resistance 3 your perks only affect you. So there are no helicopters backing you up. There are no Airstrikes dogs or secret cars that give you a leg up on everyone else. When you kill 3 people you get a cloak(chimera) overshield(if your human) then if you get 6 kills you get a auger( the gun that shoots through anything) if you get 9 you can mutate(chimera) and I haven't done the human yet I play with chimera more lol. but all the perks only have an effect on you. so the games principle is skill>perks. There is a nice upgrade system I expect more when the game releases. and its really easy to get into and fun for the hardcore shooters. Ye I played the beta and it's not bad. While I feel it's a fairer game killstreaks wise than COD i.e not being owned by a chopper gunner every other game, the killstreaks just aren't as fun in the sense that when YOU'RE the one behind the chopper gunner there's nothing quite like it.
I think the ranking up system was fairly decent and the two maps shown were good however the game just seemed to be lacking something and from what I've played of the Beta, I don't think the multiplayer in the final game will have what it takes to keep me coming back for more like with COD and Battlefield.

I played it yesterday and got a lot of lag initially.
Then last night I got a few decent games.
good fun tbh and I may pick it up.The lag just put me off and I wonder will the full game fix these issues.
I also got in to a game wher I was the only one on my team and there was 8 on the other.
I only realised it when I checked the score after a while.
Chain reaction is good.

@reask I didn't experience any lag. but i also have turbo charged internet. Also I hope you weren't scared.lol
@cozzy Depends on the kill streaks i've only gotten to mutate so im not sure if there's more beyond it. I will give some more effort into that later when I have time to focus my son always seems to scream when I get a streak going -_-. But, I never liked the choppers airstrikes in CoD's it always took the attention away from the players for me. I didn't feel it was lacking outside of the fact its a beta.lol but im sure the final version will be able to deliver without any failure.

Played again today and more lag.
Ribbons coming up 10 seconds after I got the hit.
Its just so baaaaad tbh.
Internet connection not the best but I play lots of online games and nothing like this.Slowly going off it at this point.
