GAME: Halo ODST SGT Johnson Character Activation Code

I just received an email from Game.co.uk saying:

Thank you for Preordering Halo: ODST from Game.co.uk!

To redeem your in-game SGT Johnson Character follow these steps:
...

Now this might not seem strange at all as it's the standard pre-order gift you get for pre-ordering ODST... The strange thing is I pre-ordered from Gameplay.co.uk (and recieved my code from them as expected). My first thought was "crap I must have pre-ordered it ages ago and forgot" so I went and checked my order history on Game but there is no order.

Anyone else receive this from Game without pre-ordering from there?

They do? I thought Game owned Gamestation but not Gameplay...

Either way, both Game and Gameplay have sent me different codes and to different email addresses so I can't see how they are related

fair enough lol. i wasn't really expecting it lol. i pre-ordered it from hmv and it says i should get the code but haven't been sent the email yet so am just wondering if i will get it at all lol :P
