   Hey all,

   I've recently dusted off an old Dell P4 desktop unit and rigged it up to my 52" LCD. I mainly did this as I'm fed up with my PS3 not playing certain file formats.

   Anyway my little Bro and I both have HL2 running pretty nicely and I've briefly looked into some of the mods that are available, either via Steam or other random websites.

   What I would really love is a mod that allows two people to play through the single player campaign. I don't know if such a thing exists (mainly because I don't see how the scripted 'story' moments would work) but I have seen mods that allegedly do this.

   Synergy is one that I am currently downloading. http://synergymod.net/About

   I'm just curious if anyone here has had this working and know if it's stable etc.

   Also, please recommend any other coop-centric mods that are fun (and ideally free). Am downloading Zombie Panic at the moment. Figured you couldn't go wrong with that ;p

   Any advice appreciated!

   Synergy doesn't have the single player campaign, it's just co-op in some sense on custom maps.

   Source Forts is rather fun, you have 5-10mins or so to build a base using your grav gun and sticking objects here and there. Then soon as the round starts you've got to get the other persons ball thing (flag) and return it to your base. So the key is that you have to have at least one entrance and one exit to your bases unless you don't want to win :P

   Unfortunately the very popular Sven co-op (half life) was suppose to move onto Sven co-op 2 (half life 2) but it seems it has unfortunately creased development.
   However they do say they'll continue development on Sven co-op 2 after they release Sven co-op 5.0 patch.

   EDIT: Just found two places that say they've done co-op however I haven't tried it.

   Nice one Yoshi. I'll check out Source Forts.

   I think I'm just going to grab any mod I can and see if they're any good. Will report back if anything stands out from the crowd.

   I stumbled last night on a version of Action Half Life (for HL2). I remember this was immensely fun on HL1, with grappling hooks, sawn-off shotties and a whole bunch of other crazy sh1t. I hope someone's done a similar thing for HL2!

   Is there any scope to play these custom mods on our VG247 server?

   I know it'd take a bit more preparing, but it'd make a change from the standard TF2.

   Slightly off topic as it is only sp but I would encourage everyone to play MINERVA a hl2 eps 1mod by Adam Foster. He did Someplace Else with the original HL which links in to this.

   It's a fully featured separate game/storyline which fits into the HL universe of sorts. Done by a single bloke as mentioned and just stunning and incredibly atmospheric.

   Valve hired him after seeing it.

   Coop is relative I guess, but Insurgency is definitely the source mod that I've spent the most time with.

   No? No one? It's that 3rd party making half life 1 again with half-life 2 graphics and hopefully some sort of actual tangible storyline. Has there been NO new important info on this for the past 2 years.

   Actually i stumbled onto some posts of the developers/mods on their wiki and they then took them down pretty quickly (all in same day). They said something about them being close to finished and are just finishing up a couple multiplayer maps and checking for bugs.

    None staff took successful in the scoreless 10 inning when Jayson Werth doubled using one single in the actual Eleventh. Wilton Lopez (2-4) out of production a subsequent a pair Excellent to stop typically the score pressure.
