Hello!
Which one? I've played InFamous 1 and enjoyed it, But heard La Noire is quite good. Also, I'm going on a holiday soon, next week probably and Im planning on taking the game with me as I have another console where I'm going. SO basically I will be playing it when I'm bored while away, so which one is more enjoyable?

inFamous 2. LA Noire can feel like a chore at times, its a great game but its a bit to repetitive and the slow clunky controls can really get on your nerves sometimes.
Ironic, I just bought both at the same time the other day. They're both open games so it depends on whether you want a game that's fun or one that's engaging & makes you think. After playing both games, I'd have to give inFamous 2 close to a 9 but not quite so 8.75 seems more fitting, no doubt that L.A. Noire deserves a full 10/10! My GOTY already. You'll get about 20 hours out of L.A. Noire & a little over 15 from inFamous 2 unless you decide to play both good & evil, this is assuming that you're a relatively good, quick & efficient player, the average gamer will probably take another 5 hours to both titles.
LA Noire for me. I like inFamous 2, but not as much as the first game. LA Noire, while it does slow down towards the end, is my GOTY (were it not for Portal 2).
I would like a Supernatural (tv series) themed game based on similar mechanics to L.A. Noire.
...What!? I think it's worthy of it's own video game :P Although I do think it would make more sense if it were to be a prequel to the tv show rather than a tie-in.
How long are you going for? Both have replay value. I would probably say Infamous 2 as I have found it a more fun and enjoyable experience. LA Noire is a great game, fantastic in fact. However, basing it just on which one I have more fun with I think Infamous 2 takes the lead.
If you enjoyed Infamous 1, you will really like 2. Plus you have the mission and content editor to play about with and that can kill some time if it is your kind of thing.
LA Noire is a more serious game. It's enjoyable but for different reasons. It's a technically solid game, with great acting (I think "voice acting" is almost an understatement considering the final product) and a great story.
Both are must play games for this year so I personally think you should decide if you want a really rich story experience with solid and working gameplay mechanics or a good story with some really fun and wild gameplay mechanics.
Infamous 2 definitely. L.A. Noire is a solid game, but it does get a tad repetitive. Infamous 2 on the other hand has huge replay value and is great fun.
I don't know about L.A. Noire, but Infamous 2 is a very digestible game, having like 100 missions that you can complete in and around 5 to 10 minutes a piece, so for a holiday scenario, I think it fits in very well.

Well, then InFamous 2 it is. and to answer Virlshag, Im going for 2 months, and I won't be playing much. As I would be enjoying my stay hehe. But I'm pretty sure that there would be days that I would have nothing to do.

But one question, can InFamous 2 get on your nerves?, InFamous 1 seriously used to piss me off while playing, You know when sometimes you don't do it right, or sometimes you did right but still? Am I making sense? No?
No, not really. And I mean to you making sense :P
I haven't had any major or minor problems with it. Any failed missions or cocks up don't really matter to me much as the reload/reset times are pretty much instant and you don't have to restart mission from the beginning. If you clear two thirds of the way you start two thirds in.
I haven't had a moment where it's made me put down the pad in frustration and turn it off. It's pretty much all been fun for me.

Well then it's all good. But is InFamous 2 kind of a game you can chill out and play when you're tired? or is LA Noire of it?
What the heck, I might as well get both hehe, InFamous 2 now and LA Noire when I get back :)
