Yeah as I said some place before I was going to buy a PS3 as well, now I have. I got with it LBP2, God of War3, inFAMOUS, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 1 and 2 Yakuza 4 and also like I said I picked up Demons Souls to give it another try. LBP is good but I've been playing others. God of War 3 is good but I've been playing others. inFAMOUS if pretty good but theres nothing that feels particularly special about it. Sometimes I think Heavy Rain is really good but then other times I'm not so sure. I didn't Like Uncharted 1 very much at all, there was very little variation it was just combat sequence, combat sequence over and over again, its only shinning light was that I liked Sully and Drake and that women whose name escapes me. The second was oh so much better with much more variation more adrenaline filled sequences and the characters are just as fun. Yakuza has painfully long cut-scenes with not so much game play, its main and basically only appeal is its mini games.
And... I'm still not particularly enjoying Demons Souls. Simple because every time you die you have to start from the VERY BEGINNING. You have to fight all the same enemies again fall down all the same holes again and you end up dying over and over and over and over and over and again. Not to mention the fact that every time you die your health gets halved (you have to defeat a big demon(boss) to get all your heath back)). I'm mean really, the persons having trouble so you go and make it more difficult? Its not that the enemies are particularly hard by themselves but after fighting 10 of them one after another it doesn't really matter how hard they are, they all just slowly wear down your health (and of course every time you die you have to start all over again and fight all of them all over again). And even if you don't get killed by all these guys you can still quite easily just get insta killed by some unseen hole or trap and I really do mean insta killed. The developers tried to redeem this by adding the ability to place down messages to warn other players of these on-line. But what if your not on-line or their messages aren't trust worthy or you just missed the message... you get fucked.
The game has many good ideas and good points about it, the combat is good and quite enjoyable, and I'm sure that if you gave it enough time then you could get into it and really good at it. Its just I'm finding all this stuff gets really tedious.
Sorry that most of this post was taken up by demons souls but I really wanted to get that off my chest.
Oh I also got Dead Nation because a friend of mine has it and he said it was really good. I agree its just incredibly fun, particularly with company.
P.S My PSN account is NOODLEMANNY
