Mates an interesting post about eight things this game is different than its predecesor, if true then i think i will be getting this game afterall, i did play FFXIII and enjoy it a little bit but not love it was kind of OK to me.

*Sigh* If I wasn't such a fantasy fan (fantasy overall, not just Final Fantasy) I'd probably skip this and expect it to be the same as FFXIII, but there's always that off chance that well get surprised by the developers. Let's hope it happens.

Sadly I feel the same, I like ff13 didn't love it appreciated it more when it was over (story wise). Thisone looks worse then the first but looks to have improved gameplay which is why I will get it.

I've always liked final fantasy games but I've never completed one before. I had like FF6,7,10 and 10-2 but never got all the way though any of them. I ranked up like 25 hours on 10 though so I guess I got pretty close to finishing that one.
I was thinking I might actually finish XIII until it didn't turn out any good. Hopefully I will be able to complete my goal if the second is.I remeber thinking that the cut-scene graphics on 10 were fucking awesome. A little rumbery now.

I won't be getting this game atleast on Day 1 with so many titles coming out early 2012 this game will be on the back burner. I have ME3 coming out and that is a far better RPG than FFXIII or its sequel will ever be. Adding branching maps is great and all but the damage as been done and they seem to be following the same type of plot as FFX-2 which is another downer for me.

I'm getting it more out of being a major FF fan i did enjoy 13 not going to lie so i hope they fix the problems from 13 my major issue was the whole if leader dies Game Over<<<< REALLY!?!?! was my first thought when i played 13 and recklessly died lol but honestly where is 7 remake honestly...

The Game Over thing is a moot point, seeing as you slap the X/A button and you can continue from 2 foot away from where you died.
