   I'm stuck with a problem....

   I received an email from Sony today about resetting my PSN password, so i went to their site and tried to do it. However, they still wanted my current(old) password, i forgot about that one..it's been years that i did that. So what i did was i chose 'forgot password' and i know for 100% sure that the answer to that secret question is correct, but it keeps saying it isn't.

   So i try it on the PS3 itself, i first update to the latest firmware and then try to log in, only to receive a message saying the password is incorrect. NICE! So again..i chose 'forgot password' and it asks me for my date of birth, it says it's wrong. I think it's pretty clear someone has messed around with my account..i am lost now.

   I went to the Sony station and made a new Station name so that in four hours i can chat with technical support. I don't know if anyone else has some advice? What a goddamn mess.

   That's bad news mate, hope you get it sorted :(

   Course this is why I always use the password "password". Infallible :)

   I thought only old people forgot / lost passwords !?

   Next time create one that means something to you. Something you'll not forget again!

   Don't know what to suggest in this instance though ;\ just jump through whatever hoops their tech support present and you should be fine.

   Being old, and having forgotten more PWs then I remember, I have a sheet of paper to write em all down on. It isn't just a case of keeping track of one meaningful PW, today you really should mix it up and use new ones often.

   That being said, I hope it gets sorted asap for you :/

   Oh my...stupid stupid me.

   Turns out it still was my own password. It was just an incredibly simple and short one, i just never thought that one could be it. But now i just tried and it worked. Again....foolish me, lol.

   Has anyone had problems signing in with their secondary accounts? (I'm assuming everyone has at least one separate account for region-specific content)

   I updated to 3.61 and changed my main account's password without any hitches. However, with my Asia account, I can't even sign in - keep getting a "PlayStation Network is currently undergoing maintenance" message every time I try. Not that I urgently need use the account, but still... :S
