Hello fellow posters. I would like to start taking suggestions for tournaments here on vg24/7. If it has a competitive multiplayer I want to here games from ps3 xbox360 wii and pc. I am sort've electing myself to the ps3 co-ordinator but if someone is better suited by all means we can take up that vote. I'm going to need a co-ordinator for the other consoles as well.

So, right now I need suggestions on games and co-ordinators. After that we can split our tourneys into regions to optimize for timezone restrictions. Please let's get this going to large of a community to not be able to pull this off

Ps. To people who are afraid this will attract the "hardcore" only. Don't worry its open to all just join the fun no matter your skill level

Great Idea. What games do you suggest? I'd love to play a round of Squad Rush in Battlefield Bad Company 2 with and against the community members. Preferably on PC, I have a copy for PS3 too though. (Got the Steam version as present during the Christmas sales).

Every Call of Duty - 1 on 1 is always good for tournaments.

Beat' em Ups are also always great, Street Fighter, Marvel, BlazBlue etc.

I would get in on BC2 on xbox if there are enough players. I would prefer normal Rush or Conquest though as Squad Rush is lame.

Not really, but if it comes to playing online I prefer xbox live.

Great idea, love it!
I only have a PS3 and the games I own that have been mentioned are Mortal Kombat and B:BC2.
Some suggestions:

- AssCreed: Brotherhood as multiplayer is amazing on that
- Dead Space 2 is good fun but can be a bit unbalanced sometimes
- Pro Evo 11 for any sports guys out there...I love it!!

And finally I know it's not multiplayer but a bit of highscore action with Pac-man DX. Could give a specific date we have to get a highest score by and then let the leaderboards do the rest.

Whatever is decided as long as I have the games you can count me in!

I'd be upto play some Reach, BFBC2, and MVC3 on LIVE. I stink at all of them, but I can pad your stats w/the best of em.

Oh and Pinball FX either system, and any table.

This may not work out Lex seeing as SONY may get attacked by Anon again (and the idiots on this site will still blame SONY) the servers may go down.

And for obvious reasons with LIVE as who wants to pony up $60 dollars if all they have is 360 and refuse to pay a stupid fee to play online games.

I don't see this going smooth either way.

I'd organize the games on xbox live if lex does the psn :) So just go on, write down some games you'd like to play and note the plattform you want to play on.

I'll take part in:

Call of Duty (any)
Street Fighter (any)
Marvel vs Capcom (any)
BF: Bad Company - Vietnam prefered

But I'm open to other suggestions :)

/e: The highscore Idea is also great. Trials and Geometry Wars would work fine wouldn't they?

Theevilaires this is a great idea, and if you look at my list you can see that i have more tittles on the PS3 than the 360, so even if it seems that i blaming sony, which i do becuase they have part of the responsability, i also support them the best way i can, therefore i critize them in order to make them better, but also i support them, even if you or other do not understand it, therefore please let the people do this kind of incentives thats all we need ...play time we all can be friends we are all gamers afterall.

That's why I wanted to consider multiple co-ordinators for each console. Plus it helps to see the participants for all and 1 console. Gives us more opportunity, if sony is attacked again then us the ps3 owners will just have to postpone our tournaments. But, in the process can still have some people participate on other consoles to still hold interest in this event.

I personally would love to see a lot of the guys with vendettas on here take their quarrels out in competition (if they own both which I see a lot do like yourself tea and spider). So, just like ms's theory although there are some that's not willing there are others who are. I also have about 30 friends that I can pretty much gaurentee will participate on live and psn(not including my own psn friendlist who will throw some spice in the mix)

So as gamers let's come together through this bitter rage that hackers have lead us to and do what we do best, Game. I'm getting upset these hackers get the last laugh at our expense.

It won't drift to far m.k I see I still have 1 vote as ps3 co-ordinator and you have 1 vote as xbox live co-ordinator since nemo is the first to mention pc for bbfc2 I elect him as pc co-ordinator (if he/she's ok with that)

And manu you mentioned wii first so I elect you for wiis co-ordinator if your ok with that?

Lol well I expect more later in the evening to catch wind of this. I won't cut off the admissions until Friday evening Saturday morning for out first batch. So let's keep our fingers crossed, also to all current posters bring it up to any friends you have your live list to participate in case this doesn't catch their eye
