I just got an email from Rockstar kindly reminding me that it's only two weeks until the launch of LA Noire. Then it hit me, where the hell is all the gameplay videos?
Why is there no gameplay videos? And those videos that Rockstar released don't count as it doesn't show just gameplay with nothing else, only bits and bats of it.
I'm very unsure about this title and some true gameplay would help me make my discussion :(

Thats just one of them. There is 3-4 of them.
Dude its RockStar. Their games sell on word of mouth alone. Day 1 buy I will be playing this along side RDR.

Why don't they count? It shows you bits of combat, investigation and interrogation, it shows all the bits you'll be playing. Perhaps not in length but you only get things like first 10 mins just before game release (as in a few days before). I mean seriously show me a game that officially released a large chunk of gameplay just before release. Anyway like theevilaires said, its Rockstar.
Those Brink training videos for one. They are all gameplay in a nice length. Instead of 3 seconds of gameplay then part of a cutscene. The Brink videos give a good flavour of the game while also teaching you.
Ha, I was just watching one of them before I read that. And yes good point but it still has cut up bits of gameplay. Its not one long piece but it is more connected than that in L.A (and much longer pieces).
Still a very valid point though.
