With recent event happening in the community and a lot of people raging against others. I just wanted to ask this question..... how many of you guys can't stand me? seriously I would like to know. It won't hurt my feelings and just as some people have the right to hate or dislike me I feel I have the right to know. Hopefully this thread doesn't get past 1 comment but if it does oh well

dont know you personally, i've noticed you tend to tip toe around a bit when it comes to heated debate, maybe privately urging people on to express stern views for you instead of you posting it. if i'm wrong then apologies. "cant standing you" really hasnt crossed my mind and is going overboard, you're just another poster on a net forum, who, when actually talking about the games, has some good points to make.
i think this is getting a bit much now, just chill a bit. :-)

Some, weirdly, love them. Others, hate them.

I imagine some now perceive you as somewhat insecure. Personally, I really wouldn't put too much stock in what faceless nobodies on the internet think of you. That, of course, includes me. :)
People tend to form views on others when a consistent pattern or rhetoric becomes evident.
You should also remember that someone's opinion of another is not based exclusively on the behaviour of that one person. It is colored by the views of the observer.
You could be the greatest guy in the world and your favourite color could be yellow. A guy who hates that color might dislike you based on their own views about that colour.
It's really not worth fretting over. Popularity contests are for losers. :)

I have always like you Lex. And I admire your strong convictions with your faith. More then that your ability to talk about it w/o sounding like a nut or backing down.
As for your taste in games, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. They are lil different from mine, but thats cool.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I didn't make the thread for insecure reasons though.lol I am just curious I just saw how much latent disdain was going around and got to wondering. I generally try not to make enemies but know its very easy to make them.
Thanks for the replies though guys. Also, no intentional tiptoes daytripper just get busy at work and the family(or games :-) ) so I lose my place in topics and generally come back to a whole differnent beast.lol

The only guys around here that people generally take notice of are the trolls & the trolls only take notice of those who frequently vocally disagree with them.
The more serious posters, which you are one of us as far I'm concerned, only get noticed if they make walls of text in their post & do such quite frequently, because with small, regular posts, they're just contributing to whatever conversation is going on, a troll or huge poster can entirely chance the conversation.
I've noticed certain people around here have come to resent me, like Xino & TEA & I'd assume that a few of yous like my crazy rants. Either way, it really makes no difference, no one's going to stop me from being myself regardless of how extreme their view is of me.

I fucking hate your guts to be honest. Ever since you kicked my ass so badly in Marvel vs Capcom 3 I've been secretly trying to come up with a way to make the community see you as a XBOT. Slowly but surely I'll do it because we all know I'm so manipulative and evil that I love stating false claims against people to make my point of view look like the truth.
Nah just joking you are cool and I'm not saying that because you prefer PlayStation to XBOX. I'm saying that because you are logical and I know I can count on you to be fair in the community. If SONY does something wrong and stupid I know you would easily call them out if it was M$ or Nintendo in that same case.
I respect you because you know in the gaming community we're all divided by the consoles and our favorite preference and you stick to your guns without on a daily or casual need to bash the other companies because they did something foolish or something happened which they couldn't help. I know when I read a comment from you against another console other than your preferred its not going to be fueled by ignorance but by past events that are facts not fanboyish opinions.
You know your stuff and if you fuck up you apologize unlike other so called mature gamers. You're not two faced. You don't take jabs. You don't overreact and play victim. You stay focused on what matters to you the most and don't waste your energy and time bashing something you know you really don't give a shit about. You're a gamer in every sense of the word and if theres a great game you'll play it no matter what console its exclusive to or not. You don't make excuses like other so called gamers do on this site and say meh its not my cup of tea and be a hypocrite and go play the same genre only on your fav console.
So thats what I think of you so now if you'll excuse me I have to go practice some more in MvC3 so I can tell you when I finally beat you....

@lounds.... why did you bring that up :'( I have still yet to recover from that poor decision. I constantly beat myself up everytime I look at the case! I want to cry thinking about it now, no real enviormental interaction. All I do is pick up cash registers and throw them. The same boring melee kills in kz3 I not only broke some guys kneck I also poked some eyes out. In crysis 2 its the same stab over and over. The guns.... they look nice but that and my characters hand is about all that looks nice. Dumb ai on super soldier Oh why did I cave to a friends woes just to be short changed!?
I need to go see a psych now, this regression isn't good for my son to see.

yes orbitmonkey, thats me. wasn't banned. they deleted me. several times. last time i changed it from lord to king which ive previously used as my persona. same ip, same email. I was harassing pat on the forums, said "you can't kill a good cancer". since i simply recreated the account over and over my posts were being deleted instead so i stopped posting.
ive been ignoring comments entirely till psn was taken out by hackers and was still ignoring comments except i really dislike the adage -gate on anything controversial. I personally cant believe its in the dictionary or its over use. drives me nuts.
nutty as a fruitcake is a term id agree with. *shrugs* the world is crazy place.... its the sane ones you really have to worry about because you don't see them coming till its too late. if your completely nuts people expect you to climb a clock tower with an uzi in support of man and animal relations. so atleast you know. ;)
