Guys i dont know if this happened to you before, but this weekend i spent 12 hours playing battlefield bad company 2 on the ps3, and the thing that strike me was when i put the game on the shelf and realize that i had a tons of single player games that i need to finish(wii, ps3 and 360), but i cannot do it because of the multiplayer games, therefore the feeling that stroke me was of guilty and somekind of hopeless, because i know i want to finish these games but i cannot because i like to play good multiplayer games, and in the comming months this will be sky rocketing with the release of brink, twisted metal, battlefied 3, etc., this happened before to you guys.
P.S then after that i dedicated a few hours to torchligt on the 360, great game by the way i need to pass oldergamer on the rakings ☺
Multiplayer games tend to make me feel guilty

I recently had a big play it or trade it clear out of my game collection. Lots of boxes gathering dust. DrD's guide to clensing your gaming collection ...
1) Go through your games and sort into want to play and never realistically gonna play piles.
2) Trade in / Donate your never gonna play pile and bask in the warm glow of generosity / cold hard cash.
3) List your remaining games and pick one randomly from the list.
4) Pop it in the drive and keep it there until it is done.
5) If finished bask in the glory of a completed SP game, trade/donate it if applicable and go to step 3)
6) If you really can't bear to continue playing it then take it out and trade/donate it and go to step 3)You also have to make the only new games you are allowed to buy based on trade in credit. So want something new - trade something in.
I recently completed BFBC1 SP campaign - excellent, and have just gone back to Mass Effect 1. It's great :)

I would reckomend trading some games in to get Infamous, dam thats a good single player game, bit repitive but it is fun!, Hell UC1 is best single player game i've played UC2 is overated

I'm the opposite. UC1 I thought was overrated and UC2 a huge improvement. The gunplay in particular was vastly better in UC2. Horses for courses and all that :).I don't think ManuOtaku's problem is SP games to play - he has plenty - it's actually playing them. I always find with FPS's I never finished the SP campaigns because I would be too tempted into playing online with friends whenever I booted up.

Gaming shouldn't be a chore, it should be fun. If you don't want to play a certain game, don't. It's that simple. :)

True, but I understand this problem and it's not as simple as just playing what is immediately gratifying as you can miss out on a lot of slow burning experiences as a result. For example BFBC1 - missed out on the SP campaign for years. It wasn't that I didn't enjoy what I had tried - it's just I flitted about other games and mainly played the MP. Came back to it recently and had a blast - it's now one of my favourite SP FPS campaigns ever.Obviously if you come back to a game and you don't enjoy it then take out the disc and trade it in, accept it's not something you are going to enjoy and move on. But working your way through a back catalog can unearth some real gems you missed, some great enjoyable experiences *and* save you a lot of cash :).

Ah right - I understand that. I just felt UC2 fixed a lot of the problems I had with UC1 and was a far more rounded game as a result. Maybe it didn't have the same impact as the first, but gameplay was vastly improved.Posted 2 years ago # -
Gameplay and enermy Ai was improved loads and action was great, I just felt the story didn't keep me interested as much as first one. I felt like a treasure hunter on first game, second I felt like james bond lol
