Ask me anything.

How many hookers have you killed? And how many points did you score?
You mentioned a cinema. Does it actually play actual movie?
What is the driving like in it, and what driving game would you compare the driving to, if there is a comparison to be made? I hear they changed it to be more like a racing game's mechanics.
How accessable is the world, free roaming (not in missions)?
Are there lots of stores, private houses, office buildings, farms etc you can just walk in?
May be even rob them, crack the safe in my neighbors mansion? :)
Or is only a few selected stores/private places you can enter?
This isn't the Mujaffa game DSB :P
Or maybe it is a very well expanded version of it!
Can I play as a female or are they mainly in the game to be whores?
@Talkar I read an Associated Press article that said GTA was a game where you kill hookers and score points.
Are you saying the press got something wrong? Impossible!
Yeah, i don't know what i was thinking sorry x)
Is there an 'in car view' or is it always third person?
@DSB none so far!
@Ireland Yeah it does and there's little "Please be considerate, no phones, no screaming toddlers and no masturbating' warnings before each flick. The one i watched was a solemn black and white film.
@Froseidon The driving is more like an arcade racer now. Closer to NFS: Hot Pursuit once you get in the suped up cars. Really drifty and fast.
@MFBB very accessible. You can rob petrol stations and stores for cash if you're low now. You can't crack safes in every house though sadly, just hold up some stores. But otherwise the range of interiors is much more diverse, just not every building.
@Silk, no playable female character yet, but I did hire a female hacker to my heist crew.
@Monkey there's a bonnet view but no in-car.
@Dave, Actual short films? That's mad.
Brilliant mad, mind.
I think 90% of my time playing the game is going to end up being spent not actually playing it.
@Ireland yeah man, I had to leave the black and white one as it was dull, but there are different flicks showing at different cinemas.
Did you see any references/easter eggs to previous titles, especially San Andreas?
Serious question now - How's the customization? Can you trick out every car? How heavily?
What about weapons? Customization or no? How's the selection?
Btw, just wanted to say, R* have ironed out nearly every complaint I had with SA. Traveling isn't a big pain in the ass due to multiple characters and entire world gets "unlocked" pretty early in the game.
@Safismek TONS of nods to GTA 4 and the previous games. Some really awesome references in there :)
@DSB yep, you can customise car exteriors (purely cosmetic) and interiors (stat-enhancing).
Guns can have different camos, extended clips, scopes, suppressors, flashlights and much more. There's a lot in there.
@Dragon Agreed, it's a huge leap in quality.
Damn, this is the second time this week my name's been fucked up on the website. Don't worry, thanks for the answer! :)
Huge leap in quality? You kidding me? Its DA BEST GAME OF THIS GENERATION (probably :D )!
@Dragon Surely you've forgotten about Dark Souls? ;)
@Sadismek, shit, sorry bud :P
I just want to post somewhere, how hilarious it is that #GATV is currently brazenly massacring Twitter, and was apparently earlier out-trending R*'s own hashtag.
Enjoy your game. :)
