Now I want to get Battlefield 3 on PC but ever since I've seen the gameplay I get scared it won't run. Now I know official specs aren't released yet but does anyone think a quad core intel i5 @ 2.8GHz (that's what CYRI says) and a Nvidia Geforce GT440 with 2.7GB of VRAM could run Battlefield 3? Of course there are no specs yet but just a rough estimate.

It will run easily.

If you want the best performance you can forget about it with GT 440 and 2.7GB
But it can run it on the PC.

That's great, I'm considering upgrading to a 9800 GT. Although would that make much of a difference graphics wise?

@someguy2 Possibly not much of a difference but probz make it run better. What graphics card do you have now though?

My graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce GT440 with 2.7 GB of video RAM. My PC has 4GB RAM.

2.7GB sounds like a lot of RAM for a low end card.

^^Yea it does tbh.

When I do system run tests on CYRI it says I have 2.7GB

I looked it up and bizarrely that card only comes in 1.5GB and 3.0GB options, which as I said sounds ridiculously high for a fairly low-end card, but it is true. I dunno, maybe they decided to pack in so much because it's only DDR3?
