"By the way, how much freedom is there to roaming in Crysis 2? I'll be ordering it from the UK once my pay comes in this Thursday."
While its not as Sandbox as the original, the game does give you freedom to do what you want with enemies and the levels are rather large. I actually prefer less sandbox for more detailed areas and thats what they did. You can also upgrade your armor in the game with collecting certain things and then make the suit fit with your playstyle.
"with minor interactivity with the objects around you (no more vehicles to hop on,the trees are made from indestructible concrete while the bottle just as thin as a piece of paper and no more crabs, chicken, or turtle to cuddle or shoot at)"
There is a lot of interactivity within the game, you can still drive vehiles, lots of things you can pick up and chuck or powerkick to enemies like cars. Yeah you can't destroy buildings with your guns like it was red faction but there are enviornment or pieces of it that are destructible, I was sniping from a building and my stealth went out and so everyone and their mother knew where I was and a tank shot at me and good portion of the wall fell apart.
"To be honest, the game doesn't even have proper options in the menu's. If you want to adjust the different aspect like shadows, lighting, AA etc, you have to use console commands. That alone should point out how poor the PC version is."
THats right everything is just set up to be a setting that messes with everything like WOW did back in the day. Thats just lazy UI development and I agree with that.
