Thanks for the feedback guys.
@DeathJynx
Thanks man. I chose that focal point to give the feel that all the consoles stem down from the center of gaming history, PC.
@DrDamn I love the critique. Thanks! The keyboard's perspective was purposely all screwy. Like deathjynx up there stated, I wanted to give it that urban graffiti feel and as with urban graffiti its speed, spray, no rulers so perspective is not something graffiti artists worry about but I do see what you mean. Like I said in the ogp, I wanted to keep it organic/artistic rather than mechanic/symmetric. I will try other type of keyboard representations but the controllers will remain the same. I didn’t put the symbols on the controllers because I didn’t feel like I should advertise the companies. Using the controllers as the image of my gaming better represents gaming itself rather than the evil corporations behind the games. Might not make much sense to everyone else, but it does me lol :)
@Mathare It does seem kinda subtle/bland, but like I say in the ogp this is just the outline and I plan on adding more effects to it. I actually will be drawing circuit board print coming from the edges to make it look like it’s written into my skin. BTW I already have 3 tattoos (Christian themed) and my girl friend has more, it’s all about placement.
@Yoshi. No I don’t mind and i appreciate you asking first so as long as you don’t make any type of major profit of any kind. Art is my profession and I am contracted most of the time...and usually I don’t read the fine print so I don’t know if anybody using this image for major profiting might get me in trouble
@ M.K. Thanks. I went with one controller from each major console manufacturer + PC (I’m a PC gamer first). I would have loved to include the SNES, Saturn, Dreamcast, N64, and Dreamcast as I have owned all systems but I wanted to keep it 1 controller per company so I went with Genesis for Sega as that was one of my fondest gaming experiences. I went with the Xbox1-S controller because that was my favorite console that I sent the most time on last generation.
PC, Atari (2600, loved playing on my cousin's original console for hours at a time), Nintendo (NES, the biggest affect on my gaming life), Sega (Genesis, the only console my parents ever bought me so i have fond memories), Microsoft (Xbox1, my biggest gaming experience of last gen...gamecube is a close 2nd), Sony (PS3, i started with PS1, didnt care for PS2 much, and PS3 is my biggest experience this gen).
@Michael
Thanks man I appreciate the kind words. Art is my #1 passion with Gaming being my close 2nd.
