   I know alot of games, esp ones today, have this feature built in. I use a wired xb360 pad for a lot of stuff on PC.

   But is there some software you folks know about that I can install(free is best), where I can play games like Titan Quest or Rift with a Control pad?

   It just feels right to me, esp because I want to take the PC out into the living room to use on my TV. Playing from a couch with a KB/Mouse doesn't cut the mustard if ya ask me.

   Can anyone point me in the right direction? All I get when I google it is web stores that want to sell me control pads.

   I know something that isn't free but you could try and get it for free (illegally ofcourse.)It's called XPadder and you can configure it to lots of different controllers.

   There are some free programs around that let you manually map keyboard & mouse controls over to your gamepad, remember this: Google's your friend.

   lol at Law!

   I keep trying Crysis, all I got was places that sell PC USB controlers.

   I will try that XPadder thing out guy2, I don't mind paying for a product if it works good and is affordably priced.

   I was using my PS3 controller at some point on my old XP computer but couldn't find anything free (or legitimate) for my Vista(now W7) computer.

   Now I remember it was Xpadder, 1000s of sites have it for free.

   Versions of the program after 5.3 are available as payware and are officially supported on the website, while 5.3 and all previous versions are freeware.

   you can use the PS3 controller in windows 7 but its a bitch and not worth. Each time you reboot your PC and reconnect the controller, you have to trick (hack, basically) your Bios. waste of time
