Don't even download a demo. Buy it. NOW.
It was made by Paradox (that makes games like King Arthur, Mount and Blade, Hearts of Iron)... You should be lucky that hardcore game is in your console for once.
It is fantastic gaming experience. I'm interested to see if 360 version have the same experience like in PC. That thing is just brilliant. As always... It's Paradox.
If you are going to buy it or will have a demo. I have a question: does this game on 360 have option that can turn gore on and off? :D

THIS is why I still game.
Magicka is a great game. Period. Once in awhile something truly fun comes along. Something that doesn't feel like we have done this to death already, and yet doesn't feel like it is trying so hard to be different just for the sake of being different.
I really like this game, and to hell with a 360 version. Buy it on Steam. I bought a lot of Arcade games on xbox one, now they are gone. At this point I worry about the samething happening to the next gen. Besides this is a Steam game, classic. It is what they do.
Everyone should own this little gem.

game is incredible. I'm on the 4th chapter and it's brilliant.
I luv Paradox interactive and Arrowhead Game Studios.
If they are not going to release a sequel i'm going to be seriously MAD. This game need a sequel.

What are these here 'performance issues' I've been vaguely hearing about? My laptop's not really a gaming rig, so this is a little troublesome. Really have to try that demo.

@Blerk, stupid issues with frame rate.
Even with my rig sometimes fps is really low and i don't understand why. (everything on max of course), but game graphically is not that something like Crysis or even a typical Call Of Duty.Posted 2 years ago # -
That's kind of why I was surprised, it looked sort of Torchlight-level graphics-wise, which my machine handles fine. Then I see people complaining that they've got top-of-the-range kit and it's chugging. Hopefully they'll patch those problems out.

Bah, finally got round to downloading the demo and it doesn't bloody work. I fucking hate PC gaming.
