Have you actually submitted it to iTunes so that it will appear in the iTunes store?

Mart needs to do that, yep. He's working on a bit of art for it. In the meantime, though, you can manually sub to it in iTunes by hitting "advanced" then "subscribe to podcast" and inserting the URL.

Already subscribed manually :)
Is there one planned for this week?

Done and done.

Yeah. Friday morning. Got an interview about the Batman demo and a chat with Michael de Plater about EndWar and Ubi Shanghai.

Oooh, Endwar, I love endwar me.

It's a good interview. He's a top chap. He's moved to France from China now, to the studio that's working on Beyond Good & Evil 2. I asked him when it's coming out at the end of it :)

When Stephany speaks the mic comes over a little crackly and stuff. It makes it slightly painful to listen to her. (Sorry Steph!) Other than that, I'm looking forward to the time when I can get this directly downloaded to my iTunes library. :)

We have to do it over the phone, basically. I'm going to keep looking at ways of making it better, but it's never going to be crystal clear, unfortunately.

I figured as much, Pat. I'm not in the know about this sort of stuff, but what about Skype?

We use Skype. Dunno know if Ventrillo would be any better either. Oh, and no offense taken SunKing. The man of the house would agree with you ;-) :-D

Maybe after you get a signal breakup Steph could repeat what she had just said and you could edit out the broken up parts?
Orrrrrrrrr... Both record the conversation on 'your end' then edit together the cleaner signals, that way you've still got the flow of a natural conversation but better sound quality on both ends.
Audacity is a free sound editor you could use. Import in both sets of audio, line em up then mute out the rough bits from both tracks leaving you with the clean stuff.

That's a good idea. It would take far longer to edit, though. I know it's a bit rough at the moment, but I edit it by myself (in Audacity) on Thursday nights after we record it. Even adding these two interviews this week will mean it takes about an hour longer to sort out.
But yeah, noted. I didn't think of doing it that way, but that would help a lot.

Actually, I think I've got it. If we both record our microphones locally, I can just drop the two files into Audacity and off we go. That should make it lovely and sharp.

Yeah, that makes much more sense, I pretty much forgot you can have it record solely of the mic rather than everything that runs through the sound card, d'oh!

We use Audacity for our podcasts. All you do is make sure you never stop recording galf way throguh, or leave your speakers on.
It means you can sync the tracks up, then merge them, and then you can edit them appropriately.
