Yeah. That and the fact that we in the UK are seen as a bunch of suckers for high prices.
The reality is that CoD4 is still selling for £40, even today, so any greedy businessman with a plan is going to see no problem in charging £5 more for the 'new and improved super upgraded' next version.
'Cos that's what it will end up being in real terms. Almost all shops will 'knock' a tenner off, so it'll end up being £45 in most places.
The alternative is to drop prices on a game (CoD4) which is still selling strong (Number 9 in the UK charts for the last two weeks) and doesn't really need a price drop, and sell MW2 for a price that you know you could do better with.
And this IS Activision we're talking about.
