Should I get GT5 or LBP2? I am so undecided....I like both the games equally but am unsure which one I want to get and I only have the $$ for one.

Personally, I'd get LBP2, then make your own GT5 level with Sackboy drivers.

LBP2 Will likely keep you going longer, unless you're obsessed with car collecting, if you can't decide, maybe go out on a limb & toss a coin, you can always get the other game later & until you can, you'll already have one of them to enjoy.

Thanks for the input guys @ Detale good idea about the car level lol...I've got the platinum for the original LBP so I was thinking maybe Ill get that. @ Crysis I think that the coin thing might be the way to go, as of right now I am finding GT5 on some sights for cheaper, but I think ill just have to pick one and choose.

Hands down LBP2. There is just so much you can do with the game. GT5 is GT. It is what it is. Pretty singular gameplay experience. LBP2 won't leaving you tired and bored, imo.

Unless you've got a strong interest in cars or motor racing, LBP2 hands down.
That said, despite its flaws, I've been tremendously enjoying GT5 and will probably continue to do so for months to come :).

I have to admit I am not a racing type gamer.
I initially rented GT5 for a week and thought it was OK albeit its cumbersome menus and loading times.
I then got it as a present for Xmas.
This game seemed to want me not to like it for some reason but I kept going back to it.Having gotten my head round it now with the tuning of cars and going to the garage if your car isn't on list for said race and so forth I have to say imo this game is pretty good and I am glad I picked it up.
It certainly has its flaws but there seems to be a lot of stuff there to keep you busy for a while. On a side note has anyone played much on line with it?
I heard it is a bit awkward getting around it.
I will stick with sp for the moment but a heads up would be nice.LBP would not be my type of game so I wouldn't have an opinion.
My daughter played the first one and loved it and by all accounts I reckon 2 will be good.Posted 2 years ago # -
I'm not into racing games and I've never been interested in GT, so... I can't say much to help you with your dilemma.
Still - one thing that's important to consider is value for money. The LBP2 editor looks really clever and some of the YouTube videos thereof have blown my mind... so perhaps there's some real value to be had, there? I guess at the end of the day it comes down to how much you like driving games.
If you love the thrill of driving enough to offset the value of LBP2, then go with GT5. If you're at all into cutesy platformers then LBP2 will likely last you a long, long time and give you some great value for money.
