You challenged me to find an example and I found one. And that was weak? And finding a quote in seconds is an admission that I was wrong?! Dude: WTF are you smoking? You can inflect printed words any way you want: you said you never did it but you did. I see no winking emoticon or "/sarcasm" joke. And how do you know MY post wasn't intended as a teasing or facetious rather than malevolent comment?
The quote IS specific in that you directly address others; it is concerned specifically with the item or subject being discussed; is peculiar or proper to a somebody or something (there is no rule that this must be singular: it may be a group or classification), as in qualities, characteristics etc; and is a statement of quality or detail.
How ironic, you do not undertsand what "specific" means, nor do you know how to use it in appropriate context. Perhaps if you had said "targetted at a SPECIFIC individual" you might have gotten away with it. But my response would have been "WTF? You are arbitrarily choosing highly restrictive terms in asking for a quote directed at a single person and not a group - which is very convenient for you given your original comment referred to "everyone" - i.e. a collective group - and not an individual".
That's like saying "I've NEVER done it - apart from the times I have".

Oh dear.
You seem to be totally ignoring the entire context of the thread in order to prevent yourself from looking silly.
Firstly, JesteR accused me of being a fanboy. That being specific to the individual G1GAHURTZ. It was not specific to a group of individuals. There was no ambiguity whatsoever.
I then responded, referring to the individual and making a comment, to which you clearly couldn't resist making a pathetic remark about, probably based on your burning hatred of my ability to point out facts about Sony which obviously upset you.
So clearly now, the context has been set. There is no question that we are talking on an individual rather than a group level. I responded to JesteR because he called me a fanboy, and you made a stupid comment trying to give the impression that my response was unjustified, because I was, in fact, a fanboy.
So with the context set, and maybe it's my fault for assuming that you could think in context and not need things spelling out for you like some sort of dim child, I asked you a question.

So as we have established that we are working on an individual level, it's either dishonest, or just outright stupid of you to now assert that specific could be specific to a group of people.

The question was regarding a specific individual that I have ever accused of being a fanboy, which is not something that I do, because unlike you and your ilk, I don't find the need to start insulting people who make negative comments about Nintendo or Microsoft.
I may respond to people who attack me, sure, but I don't just call people fanboys because they said something about a company that wants nothing from me other than my hard earned cash so that their executives can buy more yachts and summer retreats in Monaco.

Secondly, the quote doesn't need an emoticon, (which I intentionally have never used on this website) nor does it need any sort of obvious indication that it's not to be taken seriously.
In fact, I only wrote that because I knew that the people with a brain would see it for what it was, whereas the deluded G1GAHATERS, which clearly includes you, would become incensed due to their short-sightedness when it comes to the things that I write.
It was obviously sarcastic to those not blinded by petty hatred.
This point being clear by the FACT that the previous post, iirc, clearly mentions 360 fanboys!
So why would I make a comment about 360 fanboys all being the same if I am supposed to be the 'ultimate 360 fanboy'!?!
Lets face it, you said something stupid to start with, your response was even worse, and now you are trying to get all pedantic and conveniently forget/ignore the context of more than one conversation.
And all after I even mentioned what a good point that you made about the Edge KZ2 review...

I dont ignore facts but some people here do and still claiming that the 360 had a great 08 or that MS is "hiding" their exclusives for 09 and attacking Sony for announcing exclusives for 09.

Yup, Killzone 2 is already racking large numbers alone, aside from other games like Savage Moon and Flower (altho those two are PSN). And Killzone 2 is not just hype. Have you played the game yet? I'd even tell you to play the final product.
I've played the BETA for more than a month and it was such a blast, much more fun than Halo 3 and CoD4 and whatever other multiplayer you wanna throw at K2.
I so feel like a fanboy saying all of this, but I'll take the hit anyways. Killzone 2 does live up to the hype.

Given that you had complained about a poster calling "everyone" (a group) a fanboy I considered it perfectly reasonable to quote you using the term "all you fanboys" (a group), regardless of what *you* wanted (an individual). Get it now?
