...to me it really is.
people want to see the next big innovation from nintendo, what will they do to with the pad? they didn't deliver yet. no? i think they already have. i think off tv play would be enough actually.
it changes how i play - a lot. it is super comfortable and fun. it makes my gaming time and my social life better because it allows me to combine it more often. it does not isolate me from people i am living with. i think that's pretty damn innovative by it's own and yeah, a killer, must have feature now actually.
in a way wiiu is the ideal home console. ok, a little more 3rd party here or there would not hurt anyone, but hey, it's not too late, people might buy the system now because of the great winter/spring lineup. i hope they do. system's worth it...but yeah, it doesn't look cool, it's a toy, yeah, i understand, some people will never ever give it a chance and that's ok.
i cannot wait for mk8 local coop which will let a friend use the pad while i'll race against him/her with wiimote on the telly or the other way around.
the pad is great for coop in general. i enjoy nsmbU coop a lot as well.
runner 2, again, off tv...FTW!
i really like the touchpad controller. to me it feels great, really liking the design and how it feels. it has these rounded edges. if you are lying in the bed you can let it rest on your chest and it's very very comfortable to use. it takes some time getting used to but once you have it's great.
so many complaints about the system...i sold mine too because i thought it lacked games, especially 3rd party support didn't look too hot, but then, i bought it again.
in comparisson to ps3 and 360 i really enjoy playing on the wiiu the most.
it's older tech but still manages to be next gen, freaking innovative. it's not a trick, it's a nintendo.
feel free to hate.
