I am bored coming to the site with nothing happening so I found this on vgchartz.
I know lots of you don't put too much faith in them but if accurate it puts 360 in fifth place of all time consoles ever.

We're going to be starting again very soon. Not long to go.
I think it`s not impossible, in June 30/2010, Xbox 360 was sold more than 41,8 million !
Also the strong sales in North America like in November specially give you another reason that it`s can reach this number !
but I`m stuck with 47-48m !

I reckon Kinnect may have helped boost sales a bit.
Mind you I didn't get it myself as it would not appeal to me at all.
Oh for fuck sake... This is VGchartz. It's like believing some tramp.
If it was true, Microsoft would report that they hit 50 million.
I've said it once, I've said it a million times and I'll say it again: VGChartz numbers are false.
If Microsoft wants to share 360 sales numbers, it'll do it at CES this week.

I actually reckon that 360 had a good holiday season.
Nothing specific to back it up but I reckon the Wii market were looking at both.
Just my thoughts anyways. :)
