Head over to SKY 1 (UK) to see Madonna lip-syncing - big tip Maddy, mime the same words as in the song coming over the PA - and pretending to strum her guitar - another tip, don't "play" a short improvised riff when your guitar isn't actually hooked up to the sound feed. Half the time the crowd are watching her on pre-recorded video on the big screens. What a con.

unfortunately this is the new trend.
I use backing tracks myself.
The pubs cannot afford full bands.
