Anyone playing the Quake Live beta? Been playing it quite a fair amount, I'd forgotten how much fun Quake 3 was in multiplayer.
If your in the beta, drop your handle in here for some online goodness.
Got about five invites if you want to play.

I got an invite today... and I bought a new PC yesterday (arriving Monday). I'm gonna be SO on it.
I'm in yeah: evilashchris
rauper: New PC? Anything good?
And yeah, I've got an invite. No idea when I'm going to find time to play it, though.
Nothing special, just a dell jobbie for home. Not the cheapest but not far off. It'll do "most games" I reckon... couldn't quite justify getting a sexy XPS beast for £1k+ for a few extra frames per second, given most my time is spent doing email...
Ja. I think I'm going to go for a new graphics card soon, and that should be it for this year. I'm into the idea of Dawn of War II, but I reckon my machine may stretch to that now, so a new computer's off the cards for a bit, I think.
Just out of curiosity how much would you need to spend on a graphics card to play decent games.
My wife got me a notebook for Xmas its the medion one out of aldi if that rings a bell to anyone. Dont ask me specs im shit at tech questions.
Anyway I done the crysis test and it failed but I would be interested as it is so much more handy than the PC.
Imagine the comfort she,s sitting watching her soaps while I am beating the crap out of somebody on line or there beating the crap out of me. Bliss :D
I just bought this GFX card: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-093-OK
Direct X 10 comp. and is a very good budget card, so I hear.'
In fact I've just bought Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 "LGA775 Core 2" 2.50GHz, Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2 NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / nForce 630i Chipset (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard, OCZ 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 Dual Channel Platinum Revision 2 XTC Series DDR2 RAM.
All for 1900 Danish Kroner (thanks to the über-devalued pound - it all came to £224)
63.99 only will that do me for gaming?
Next stupid question. Is it easy to install?
BTW thanks for the link I am going to bookmark it.
Well it all depends on how much RAM you've got and your processor. But if you've got a PCI mobo then that gfx card should make a difference.
I can't wait for it all to turn up Monday.
Typing out my thesis using Word will never be the same again...
I found this Mike
CPU n270 @ 1.60ghz
1.06 ghz 0.99 GB of RAM.
So does that tell you anything?
Would be nice if it worked.
Quake live is forver is beta. Its kind of ridiculous. I got the beta last August and i know other who started months before me. Just open it up for all people.
