Seems like MS finally decided to drink their own kool aid and switch from Adobe Flash to Silverlight. Looks decent if not minimalist. However, Safari 4 users get a different page served (At this time?) even though the SL plug-in is installed. Next for MS, time to abandon poor browser detection techniques of the past.

I've had a look, but I don't like all the mouseover stuff, especially on the friends list.
Also seems to have problems loading up avatars consistently.

Yeah, it's so poorly implemented... I missed the inline player functionality all together the first time around. LOL.

I changed the Safari 4 user agent to Firefox 3.0.10 and it picked up the SL content right away. MS' browser sniffing sucks!
