i just bought an LG 2013 LA series hdtv and i absolutely love it (the magic remote thingy they have is superb, wont go back to a regular remote now). picture is soooooogood.
thing is, i bought a 32" and it feels great and all but now that it sits here on my desk i asked myself if i could go bigger and might even get a 42" of the same model. it would only be 100/150 Euros more. since i bought it on july 1, the guy in the shop told me it wouldn´t be a problem if i´d return it today or on monday and then upgrade to 42"...37",39",40" aren´t available on that model and i definitely want to keep that model, it´s just gorgeous.
hmmmm. what to do? i am actually quite happy with the 32", i played on 27" before and that was fine too. i have a desktop setup and sit maybe 5 feet away from the screen. right now 32" even seems to be slightly too big...but people say that the hd content really starts to shine at 40" or more. is that actually true or just a digital myth?
i don´t watch tv, rarely movies. this is a dedicated console gaming screen with some pc sideuse for internet surfing...
i´m changing rooms next week, will still have a desktop setup there but i could sit further away from the screen there...
many say bigger is always better but i really don´t think so.
...but right now i just think: i could have that bigger screen for not that much more cash, i should go for it. on the other hand the 32" is fine, i love it, maybe 42" would even be too big for me any my setup. i plan to have that tv for the next 5 to 8 years so i want to make decission i wont regret next year...would really aprreciate some input from you guys.
