Heartbroken ms employee(17 posts)
the best trolls are a micro$haft employee... what a loser, lol.
I can go write fake stuff there also...
So this guy is saying that what makes the PS4 a 360 2.0, and what makes (made) the One the glorious future, is that on the latter, if a friend bought a new game, and if he added you as "family", you could download a timed demo of that game and your progress would be saved while you paid the full RRP in the store? The difference is progress saves on demoes?
Is that the progress some on this site are enraged that the trolls who will never buy a One anyway have destroyed?
If it is true, that is hilarious.
I'm kind of disappointed that MS changed its DRM policies, all those Internet memes... :(
Already debunked by MS.
At this time I can't believe either thing. Even if the "demo-version" was false, we didn't know anything about it in the first place to begin with.
MS saying it was false/true doesn't change a thing. It was a feature we barely had any idea how it worked.
ah forgot to note t hat it could be probably fake yea :p
this is the internet after all lol
Oh, so MS cleared that up then, did they?
So there was no 'time limit' after all...?
It really was as clear as MS had initially described, and this was just a simple case of desperate people jumping on the lies of a fantasist, then?
What a shame for all those 'quick to jump on a baseless rumour' types...
Will they ever learn?
Sure, keep dreaming!
Sony announces on stage in front of the gaming and tech worlds that the PS4 will not have DRM and will not impose any new game restrictions.
"They were going to do it, but..."
"They are still going to do it."
"You're all being played!"
MS announce on Twitter that a policy they've abandoned for no reason at all wasn't going to function as some people claim.
"See! Confirmed by MS!"
"All cleared up. Move on. Nothing to see here."
I just love MSDF XBots....
Yet more mystery quotes from a serial fantasist...
Just invent a sentence and put quotes around it. Maybe that will make it true!
No links, as usual... But how can you link to something that doesn't exist?
I hope they get help for their OCD.
I must have seen the symptoms on "several occasions in the last week alone".
I think Cliffy B. should stick to twitter...
Whether the pastebin dump is an actual employee or just some random guy roleplaying as one for kicks, I will never not be annoyed by the rampant assumption that video games need to be "movie like experiences." What the fuck ever happened to video games giving VIDEO GAME experiences? Why are these companies always so stupid that they think trying to be a shoddy imitation of the film industry is the way video games need to be done?
Also, I continue to see the attitude of "hurr we were trying to revolutionize the industry with our DRM plans and if you didn't support it then you're holding gaming back" to be exceptionally dickish no matter who's saying it. This is like saying if you don't support letting the government install cameras in your house, that somehow means you want people to be murdered and raped. It's a mix of deliberate ignorance and self-absorbed narcissistic bullshit, as if just because he doesn't value and appreciate consumer rights enough to hold on to them rather than cave to some fancy, shiny "feature" they claim would "revolutionize" gaming, that means it's the objectively right way to go about things and everyone else is wrong.
If the guy that posted that is the real deal and actually is an employee that worked on the project, then sure, it sucks that he put a lot of programming time and effort into something nobody asked for that he now has to see scrapped. But he's not entitled to having that work put to use just because he did it and it fits his personal values.
EDIT: And now I see the link to Kotaku saying the Pastebin is essentially fake. My statements stand regardless. :P
lol but great post anyway salarta!
Thanks polygem! I think I care way too much about what people say on the internets sometimes. :P I'm working on not caring so much so I can do things that are more likely to help me actually advance the interests and concerns I care about, something that arguing with people online clearly doesn't manage to do when so many look for excuses to write off things I say if they don't like it.
internet discussions can be really frustrating. i personally plan to post less. unfortunately i post more than ever before though ;)
must change that. it's a just a waste of time far too often.
