My opinion on this: console Diablo without NERF is impossible. I don't see how the gameplay will work on consoles (without being significantly neutered) with certain classes like spellcasters or ranged classes. Autotargeting won't help either because some skills require mouse precision for the certain skill.
Not to mention about hotkeys that are the most important part of the Diablo game.
We'll see, maybe it's going to be something like the Baldurs Gate Xbox port. I'm not really excited about this, but curious to see, what it's going to be in the end.
A year & a half, 2 years from now the hype machine will start. Activision will throw money at the journos, who'll lap it up like hungry dogs, then stumble off, bellys full, to spew praise all over their respective mags & sites. With huge fanfare & flashy ads Diablo (generic fantasy sub title here) will launch!! And consoles users of the world will go *meh* & go back to playing Black Ops.

Bwahahaha... With full force marketing they sold only 1.80 million of copies on the Xbox 360. + Bioware brand.

EA said that Dragon Age did over 3 million across all platforms in February 2010 and far as i know, they havent updated the figures since. They never said what it did by platform. There is no basis to that 1.8 million.

With 1 million or so on the PC where is a Bioware fanbase more or less.

No they never said how it did per platform but the producer did say the changes in Dragon Age 2 were encouraged by the leading sales ie the consoles thats why the game is more reaction-based. Also why there is not going to be a isometric view like there was in the PC version of Dragon Age Origins. You will be able to pull back farther on the DA 2 PC version but it won't be like the original.
