Well, assumption is assumption, and it doesn't stack up against what they've said in interviews, which is that they're taking things one step at a time.
What they've actually said is that they're a (relatively) small studio who are making a game that they want to make, without any external pressure, and they're happy with that.
They initially wanted to do all platforms, but they decided to focus on one, just like they've decided to focus on MP, and not spend time developing a campaign.
You could possibly argue that Titanfall is like CoD2, which never appeared on PS3, and that subsequent games in the franchise will go PS4, but there isn't even a guarantee that they will do a Titanfall 2, yet.
Remember why they left Acti in the first place... They wanted more control over what they were doing, but Acti wanted them to be a one game studio. Acti didn't even want CoD to leave it's WWII theme!
Anyway, the point is that these assumptions should really have a little more substance about them before people go around speading them as if they're fact.
