I just put in a 500GB drive and got to thinking, could Sony patch the PS3 to allow for DVR functionality if they wanted to? And if they could technically, could they legally (meaning with regards to broadcast recording/playback, etc)?
It would certainly add to the multi-media machines already impressive roster of easy to use features (digital pics, music, movies, blu-ray, games, 3D, etc).
