That looks like fake to me.
CoD4 was made on both systems simultaneously, i dont see why MW2 would be any different seeing as IW went on about how easy it was and didnt understand other devs PS3 woes.
That sounds ever so fake. A developer wouldn't admit one version was better than another, even if it was true. The article is clearly a load of bullshit.
lol at all the PS3 fanboys creaming themselves over the news. Fucking losers.

We have learned by fourzerotwo, which is the committee manager of MW2, via Xbox Live that this quote is fake and there’s no such person as Todd Stevens. More information is posted up here. “… we don’t have a lead sku, both platforms have dedicated guys to allow equal dev time (the way it should be). “
like i said, simultaneously made on both systems.
ecu ftw! :D
It wouldn't have meant anything anyway! Some games do lead on the PS3 purely because in some situations, it's a lot easier to port from PS3 to Xbox 360 than the other way round.
Doesn’t it make sense? With the PS3 harder to program for (and technically, a little bit better) you build it on that and then downsize it for the 360?
Not if two thirds of your sales are going to be on 360.
But don't you want to keep your dev costs down as much as poss? The less it costs to make the more money you make..? :)
There are so many different variables to take into consideration that I wouldn't even want to speculate if it was cheaper to lead on one console over the other on this particular game.
Anyway, both Activision and IW have come to the conclusion on 2 occasions that giving both equal priority is the way to go.
Besides, when you're forecasting more than 10 million units, I don't think that you worry too much about being uber efficient with dev costs.
Bless the Official PS Forum, eh?
They're "special".
(As are the lot on Xbox.com, but they're less desperate and crywanky)
