I'm actually looking at the quality of Metal Gear Solid 4. And, I have got to say kojima really did a number with that title for a 2 year old game. Yes uncharted 2 and 1 were excellent games in quality from last year. But the level of quality that kojima accomplished in Mgs4 at its time still deserves a bit of praise. I know a lot of people want to cry about the extended cgi and short gameplay(that you get only if you run though everything) but the boundries I see the game accomplished is astonishing.
The game executed 4 different perspectives of action and constantly changed pace from act to act. One minute your sneaking through a combat zone where you can engage in direct combat. Or, completely avoid it. Then you shoot to a tailing a operative to a motorcycle escape scene. And then after that you relive a scence of metal gears past to shadow moses taking on mechs and then driving a mech for a mech battle. Yeah and the game still delivers for an engaging(although often confusing for most people) story.
I believe this game is the best execution of the time. A lot of people make silly complaints against the game but makes little since. Its damn near compareable to uncharted 1 and if some smoother texture but not but. I've experienced very little slowdown and noticed no screen tearing. Especially how much crap is going on with well over 30 people battling.
I would like to hear some opinions on this. I definetly think Kojima was ahead of his game with mgs4 and if he was given 1 more year to polish mgs4 I can guarentee that he would have blown everyones mind.
