First of, to some degree I agree with what Cookie said.
That type of crap gets old fast, unfortunatly that type of crap is the only some people vist gaming websites.
Tea is NOT the only guy that does that. In fact I would say almost every person I have seen here has done it once or twice. I think Teas only crime, is being passionate about gaming. I can deal with that, even if I don't agree with each word he says.
I also wouldn't want to visit this site if we lost too many of its more colorful residents. And really, would you? I have Tea and Micheal O'Conner both on my friends list. I have enjoyed games with both. I like them both. Here they seem like they are at each others throat all of the time. It used to bother me. But then it hit me, that they actualy enjoyed the banter and going back and forth. I think either of you would miss the other if one of you left. I know I would.
I think that alot of time a few people suffer from over exposure. Think of who are the top posters on the site? Not so much in content quality(cause that has been and always will be Blerk, lol the guy kills me sometimes), but in terms of volume. Tea? Micheal? Me? Frosty? Gek? Shock? Pyschotext? Spider? Erthazus? Who? Whos ass is out there the most? That is who people are going to remember. Both good and bad.
My point is that everyone has a massage/pov/personality. And if a poster puts that out there in high volume that person will draw fire(and maybe praise, which draws more fire). And what kills me is those folks that either don't post much at all, and wiegh in, make alts and use those alts to wiegh in, or people that refrane from posting more then onliners, and whiegh in. And yes I know I know I fail at spelling, always have so I gave up trying years ago. What i am saying is tea is a poster. He is a regular. He is one of the personalities that makes this site unique and worth visiting.
Tea, don't go. Just post less. Rein it in a bit. Some folks got on my case claiming I should stop posting. That I complain too much. I should blagh and I should stop blagh-blagh. Well I contemplated leaving. But ya know what I am me. And I like blagh-blagh. Just saying be true to who you are. If people are pointing something out, look into it. If you feel they have a valid point, and you want to make a change do it. Simple as that.
I don't put people down. I don't swear at or call people names. I try and lighten things up. I miss type and missspel as often as I can! I have a sort of code to post by. It works for me, might not for everyone. But I feel it is who I am. I will not change or cave.
I suggest you do what works best for you. Just don't stop being you. Feel free to change your delivery if ya like. But leaving the site is not the answer imho.
