   So, this weekend, which is apparently Labor Day weekend in the states, Epic are upping the XP in Gears 2 Multiplayer to 25x (starting Friday morning, ending Tuesday Morning, that's US time so more like starting Friday afternoon)

   That's a lot of XP.

   I think I'm going to be Hording tonight, I'll play with randoms if I have to but I'd rather get a decent team of experienced gamers together to give a better chance at going deep into a Horde event because they're switching the default difficulty to Hardcore and giving Hardcore the difficulty multiplier that Insane usually gets.

   So, who's in? I'll be home like 6ish and would be looking to play some time after 7.

   If you're interested post here and we can sort out details (who's hosting and when) later.

   If we can't get 5 VG247ers we can try and fill empty slots from our friends lists or take our chances with randomers.

   As i always expected, no one on vg247 actually plays games, they just whine about them ;)

   I'm not interested btw, i'll be too busy staring at my xbox dashboard wishing i still felt a pang of excitement or fulfillment from gaming

   I actually read it earlier but my copy of gears is in possession of a workmate.
   He got himself one recently and was looking for some exclusives.
   Needless to say he is a happy camper. :)

   Fuck, that was a frustrating night of gaming, and testament why gaming modes such as Horde and Firefight should be on DEDICATED servers.

   The moment the host leaves the game everyone else gets FUCKED.

   I think I spent more time in lobbies waiting for players than actually ucking playing.

   Still, I made it to lvl 50 (from 30 something) which was my goal for last night.

   Anyone up for monday? SunKing?

   I hate assholes who disconnect when they see you winning lol.. happened to me numerous times while playing Small Arms with randoms. what dicks!

   sorry, I don't play Gears, I don't even have the copy anymore.
